I see that someone has used #AI to create a Sharp MZ-700/MZ-80A emulator. Sigh. I can guarantee that my #PicoMZ emulator for the MZ-700, MZ-80K and MZ-80A is completely AI free, so all of the bugs are of my own devising 🤪

Making progress with my next version of the #PicoMZ. Japanese graphics ROM implemented as an option for the MZ-700, some annoying keyboard bugs squashed, an upgrade to Pico SDK 2.3.0 being tested. There's more items on the todo list, but I'm aiming to release v3.1 later this month. #RetroComputing

Another update to the archive today! I came across a decent copy of Knights Forth language for the MZ-700 recently and it included a manual, I've added that to the relevant page: mz-archive.co.uk/downloads/14... Again, the manual was absolutely tiny formed the J-Card for the cassette case itself.

And now it's the turn of Knight's Computers "Expert Machine Code" to be added to the archive :) The documentation is a tiny manual forming the cassette's J-card so very hard to read in its tiny font, the PDF on my archive makes this much easier. mz-archive.co.uk/downloads/qV...

Looking good! Written for R&L BASIC 700-4, but can work in standard Sharp BASIC (however currently the colours will be slightly wrong if S-BASIC is used, I believe Roy is updating this and will be fixed later). Just showing off how terrible I am at Tetris :D

I’ve not seen many videos of Retro Fest pop up but this is a really good one. Sadly I was often away from my table as I had a horrible tickly throat that meant I couldn’t hold lengthy conversations with folks. Had to keep ducking outside with my water bottle. It was a fantastic event though!

Without stating your age post your favourite film released the year you turned 18. I saw it in the cinema. It wasn't great (although the camerawork was pretty impressive). However, the Assembly Cut which I only saw for the first time a few years ago is like a different film! Like it a lot.

Just thinking back to the amazing time when Retro Gamer magazine reviewed @jfroholt.bsky.social 's awesome game Minesnake and gave it 82% ! In my opinion, best Snake-type game available for the Sharp MZ series :D They also gave us a two page spread with an interview with Joachim too.
