ICE isn't something that just happens in other cities. It's happening in our city, to our neighbors. On 7/22/26, local nursing studen Sarafinah Bukirwa, who has sickle cell anemia, was detained by ICE at the Louisville airport. Her detention came just one day after she was hospitalized.

ANOTHER DAY. ANOTHER ICE KILLING. Our outrage is boiling over. Joan Sebastian Guerrero, the 26-year old man shot and killed by ICE was fully authorized to work in the US and had a legally issued SSN. He had no criminal history. He was executed in front of his partner and his daughter.

According to PBS, FBI agents recently raided the Cleveland office of the Ohio Organizing Collaborative, a grassroots group that has spent almost 20 years fighting for voting rights and registering voters. Federal agents seized documents, spent hours interrogating staff, and went to people's homes.
