He had a brief period as a rock star in the 60s and a subsequent varied career including being a bank manager! Very genial, always fun and, most importantly, deeply kind. Not seen much in recent years as he’d moved to Devon but very very fondly remembered.

How wonderful. We just had a one week holiday, far from luxury, but wonderful. Went to Ghadames. Also an amazing Roman villa in incredible condition on the coast (can’t remember name).

Ironic isn’t it - I slept really well! It was fundamentally an old age death after a life very well lived but it’s always sad isn’t it. He was a lovely chap.

As people who are hoping to be close to exchange on a purchase I feel your pain deeply! We’ve been ready for many weeks, as has our seller, but there’s a chain beyond who are faffing around. It’s so nerve wracking as anything can go wrong till the last minute. Grrrr!!

We are very fortunate to live in the age (and location) that we do, with the wonders of modern medicine. R has complex heart issues (some structural from birth, some electrical from his early 30s) and now Parkinson’s, still not yet 65. Nevertheless he’s leading an enjoyable full life. 🙏🙏🙏

Glad it works for you. OH has had two ablations, one for ventricular ectopics and one for the AF which they intended to do in the first one but found so many ve’s that they ran out of time! In yours for AF? Hope it goes well.

I love wine! I never have a problem getting to sleep. It’s *staying* asleep that I have difficulty with. It’s deeply random, can’t be linked to any triggers or causes. Just have to live with it 🙄

Just think of all the unnecessary head space that’s being consumed in people as a result of all this bizarre stuff. OH was sent two communications yesterday informing him of appointments (24-hr heart monitor and echocardiogram). Yes of course he’s grateful … but no question of checking he’s free

I have loads of days like that! Frustrating aren’t they Today I’ve also done some washing, had lovely long video chat with daughter in law, watched video for the next lesson in my distance learning course, & am shortly to join a Zoom Bible study Looks impressive but I still managed some faffing 🙄😂
