Impressive work by the Blue Bombers to hook the field goal wide and then give up the return for a touchdown.

Bradley's deal is guaranteed in Year 1. Non-guaranteed in Years 2 and 3, with an early guarantee trigger date. Team option in Year 4. Deal uses part of the mid-level, NOT 2nd-round pick exception.

Am I being too optimistic to hope that Alijah Martin grows into having a young T.J. McConnell type of impact for the Raptors? Longer and more athletic, but less passing.

A week away from the Raptors training camp kicking off. And 11 days until we get Raptors preseason games. We're nearly there.

I get that two-ways are easy to change and that the Raptors aren't locked in to this, but I'm also unreasonably annoyed it's not Nate Bittle getting this spot.

Would be very intrigued to see the guarantees (or lack thereof) on this deal, and whether he was able to exploit more guarantee since he is likely the only one to fit under the remaining space the Raptors have.

"Prosthetic legs are bad." This was what my son's takeaway was from the second day of kindergarten. It took a bit of time to sort out what was happening, but we were eventually able to clarify the story of Terry Fox. He meant that Terry's Prosthetic leg was uncomfortable, and that cancer is bad.

Two episodes into Neagley and and it feels like season 1 of Reacher. Serious, but with some good goofy elements. Good start.

My son finally starts Kindergarten today, which meant that I biked to work without him in a trailer behind me. I'll still be doing it every second day, and hopefully next summer (if he isn't too big for trailer), but this felt like the beginning of the end of this era of parenthood.

First album I ever bought. Popular kid in my class (grade 4) brought this to listen to in gym class and just replayed 'Mr. Jones' over and over. I went out that night to buy it. Great album in it's entirety. Still wonder if that kid ever listened to the rest of it.

Took my son to his school's Open House yesterday. He had no advanced warning, and was quite nervous. While he was excited to see the rooms (ex. class, gym, etc.) he made it clear "I don't want to meet anyone." He happily chatted with his teacher, met a few other kids, and played freely. So proud.

Kawhi Leonard handled his business without a direct paper trail to him, and all these big business people were like, "Let's put most of our plan in this email." Incredible work. Deeply enjoyed reading the summary report: www.wlrk.com/docs/Report_...

Well, thank goodness that part's done. Training camp and pre-season will be much more fun with Kawhi officially in the fold, which I imagine will be announced shortly. No suspension is a very good outcome for the Raps and also means the deal goes through as agreed with no hiccups. Let's go.

Whenever I wash bedding I make sure to put a few of my 5YOs stuffies/plush-toys into random locations (ex. standing on his fan, hanging from a picture, wearing his shirt, etc.) and the giggles he gives when finding them sustains me for days.

Just found a new independent bookstore in downtown Winnipeg. It opened 3 weeks ago, has Pride flags, Trans flags, and a Toronto Tempo flag hanging on the walls, and they only sell science fiction and fantasy. It is delightful. Other Places Books if you want to check it out.
