I needed a goat-apple-opera break from grant-writing and I bet you do too.

This evening #Denmark electricity prices are spiking right at the beginning of the heatwave. During mid-day the solar was contributing to keeping it low, but it couldn’t keep up the closer we got to the sunset. Almost 1€/kWh for next hour!

New car sales in Denmark are virtually 100% electric now. The number of electric cars on the road has now reached that expected in 2030. www.dr.dk/nyheder/indland/antallet-…

For some reason #AppleMusic decided that the entire app should be tinted based on the album art colors, ignoring user preferences. Which resulted in dark mode looking like this. I’m glad I didn’t listen to this album after dark.

The Dart Glacier is mostly white, with some rocky bits to its left. It's in a glacial cirque and surrounded by snowy mountains underneath a mostly sunny sky. About as scenic as the best of the Canadian Rockies.

I watched Project #HailMary in IMAX today. As a book fan, I think it was the best adaptation I could have possibly asked for. It’s faithful to the original story, and is a great sci-fi movie on its own. My first time in a movie theater in over a year, and I’m glad I decided to watch it!
