To be fair no one seems harsher on quitters than Rob, who definitely did not quit 😂

Shannon Guss @shannongaitz.bsky.social · 18h

Really sad to lose Patt in this vote. An eye rolling icon who seemed to lead with social strategy & amass a good amount of power in her short time on the show, which is exactly why she was so threatening. Such a shame to see her go #Survivor #Survivor51

I really enjoyed a few new era seasons, but it always felt like great casts were having to fight against or contend with limited & difficult production choices. #Survivor51 is so refreshing with fun players taking on an open, innovative game #Survivor

The cross-tribal helicopter alliance is a great example of how well #Survivor51 is gelling. Finding an advantage with someone you’ve interacted with for minutes is exhilarating. A credit to production for creating these opportunities & to the cast for taking them #Survivor

It was funny how everyone assumed Rob quit because he didn’t get his way at tribal, which was true, but his way at tribal would’ve been going home #Survivor51 #Survivor

I’m not someone who comes for quitters, but Rob saying he can’t risk a small cut because he has three kids was honestly comedy. I actually enjoyed the insanity he brought to the show #Survivor #Survivor51

Electric episode of #Survivor51 🔥 cross tribal visits 🔥 enjoyable advantage mechanism 🔥 MUTINY 🔥 improbable underdog comeback win 🔥 absurd Rob side plot 🔥 two warring factions 🔥 blindside in a huge open vote 🔥 so many player decisions Fun production, fun cast, fun season so far! #Survivor

An underdog group toppling the power players with two key swing votes in an epic showdown blindside when usually we’d be watching like 4 people vote around now. Hook it to my veins #Survivor #Survivor51

So I do: wordle, connections, minute cryptic and poople Then Survivordle + recall + sandwich + connections when applicable I’ve tried some others that I didn’t like that didn’t make the rotation, like don’t wordle. I was also doing some cryptic crosswords but too time consuming for every day

Shannon Guss @shannongaitz.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

That’s a fair point but I think I’d like to have seen it play out. It could’ve only been the Eric voters, Carter had the iconic Aric vote, I honestly think people would assume it was Rob but fake voting for himself to play mind games and cause chaos

Great second episode of #Survivor51! Big tribes are fun because there was enough space for a communal Eric vote, into a real Ana vote over the top, with still some space left over for what on earth Rob was doing #Survivor

It’s episode 2 & everyone bar Lewis has been to tribal! The average episode that everyone had been to tribal from 41-50 was just over 5. Love getting to see the players actually play early! #Survivor #Survivor51

5 people still in the game have written down people still in the game from these first 2 tribals already #Survivor #Survivor51

0131

Shannon Guss @shannongaitz.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Through the first 2 tribals from 41-50, only 5 people stayed in the game having written down the name of someone still in the game. Keeping in that conflict was great & often caused drama, but was limited due to small tribes, lost votes & unanimous dynamics #Survivor

Obsessed with Rob not only not being able to vote for himself, but even if he did it would’ve meant nothing because he was left out of the actual vote. The plan failed on so many levels #Survivor51 #Survivor
