To my card peeps, working on an 80s binder project that will probably encompass four, 2” binders. Which “set” of four pages do you prefer A) Groupings by team (this set Orioles), or B) Random goodness with Easter eggs within the pages?

Fun little 90s trade from @tradingcarddb for a couple “Cards from the 1990s” binder projects i am putting together!

Fun little variation project I just completed with this 1955 Topps Frank Sullivan RC. Top - no dot over “i” in Sullivan Middle (L) “round dotted i” Middle (R) “elongated “i” Bottom is the Sports Illustrated insert in which the “dotted i” is closer to his arm.

On the day after his first Opening Day assignment—I got my first Sean Burke cards in the mail via @tradingcarddb I’ve started trading for his stuff as he’s from my hometown in Mass! After a shaky 1st, he ended up with the win and QS going 6, striking out 3 and giving up no runs.

My son pulled this out of a blaster, 2025 Topps Jeter Call to the Hall that was crimped when inserted into pack—falls half inch short of a full sized card. Saw a base card that same happened but was through middle of card. That sold for $33. Open to offers. Would ship free BMWT.

Cool new addition to my Red Sox collection with this 1982 Fleer Test card of Julio Valdez. Fleer printed 100 sheets which later were cut down. It’s notable because Valdez is not in the regular set. Here’s a link to full sheets along with other info: rarebaseballcards.myfreesites.net/1982-fleer-t...

Three of my favorite binders of Topps cards I have dubbed Shoebox Legends: 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Each binder has all decade teams for each team along with numerous themed pages. The 60s and 70s are just about “complete” while the 80s needs some more work.

Obviously if you’re giving away cards, you get to set your rules. But we’ve got a couple Canadian folks in this community already so if you want to ship internationally and don’t know how - it just takes buying an international stamp at the post office for $1.65!

A new trade pick up from TCDB is this 1972 OPC Jim Northrup who was a mainstay for the Tigers for 11 years. I love this card because it’s classic vintage Topps when you never know what you’ll find in the background. In this case a tractor.

Question for the card peeps… I have always thought of Mother’s Cookies cards from 1983-1994 as food issues, but I guess they’re really not since they were stadium giveaways. Is it true that Mother’s did not also include these cards in cookie products except for the various 4-card player sets?
