if I'm mlb I make it so the season ends on Saturday in a staggered schedule of 3 time slots to maximize eyeballs and excitement, give the nfl the tv for Sunday and Monday and start the playoffs on Tuesday. competing with week 3 directly for the final frenzy all at the same start time is stoopid

my wife was at one of the nursing homes today for work and some burnt toast set off the fire alarms and the fireman came in and one of the residents was having her 99th birthday party with her family and residents in the common area and when they came in she yelled, "you got me strippers?!"

on the bus ride to the airport yesterday the driver had a local station on the radio and they were doing their version of crimestoppers amd they went through ten guys, their names, aka's, and then the crime. the "also know as" section was a riot. regular name, aka, Papa Smurf,..... armed robbery

last night we befriended our seatmate on the plane. he was a young fella getting off the island for the first time to intern as a chef in New Orleans. we helped him navigate his first escalator, waited for him to figure out customs, and bought him dinner. I hope rest of america treats him the same
