Why aren't the @mlb.com Umpires asking the Red Sox Sonny Gray to straighten his hat? Oh...that's right, he's white.

Believe women. Don't victim shame. Vaccinate. Vote. Religion is not law. Trans rights are human rights. No human is illegal. Addiction is a disease. Mass incarceration does not work. Universal insurance is Pro-Life Hunger and homelessness are fixable problems. Equal rights don't take your rights.

Her: Are you going to share some of those cookies with our son before he leaves? Me: I didn't get any cookies. Her: Shane, there are clearly two packs of cookies sitting on the counter. Me: No, there is not. She grabs a pack: Then WHAT ARE THESE?? Me: Apple-flavored sandwich creams.

I have spent my life switching roles whenever life becomes uncomfortable. Director. Counselor. Lover. Husband. Father. Fixer. Each contains a legitimate piece of me. The problem isn't that they're fake. They're all real. I need to discover that usefulness is something I do, not something I am.

Trump is the lying, narcissistic, blatantly racist, vile, sexist, convicted rapist, low-intelligence festering scab on the surface of the diseased Republican Party. Republicans don't call him out because if you pick the scab, the ugly pus and bile rises and pours out.

Can you imagine listening to U2, Rage, Public Enemy & Bruce, growing up on John Hughes, David Letterman, Stephen King & Marvel Comics, surviving Reagan, AIDS, Camel Lights, Everclear, ecstasy, meth, and 3.2 beer, only to end up MAGA. What a fucking disappointment you are to your younger self.

Business owners-hypothetical I nail my interview. It's not my knowledge of the position, but how we hit it off, the ease with which we talk. My personality *feels* right. You have *heard* so many great things about me. I'm pretty well known, seen in the right circle with the right people.

Any MAGA walking away from Trump isn't doing so because they suddenly care about LGBTQ, immigrants, or Brown People; Ukraine, Lebanon, or Gaza; judicial, healthcare or tax reform; reproductive, voting or personal rights. They care about their bank account and will back the next Fascist that rises.

I have held off on announcing this publicly. I have Parkinsonism. It started with tremors, teeth gnashing, jaw clamping and stuttering. Led to headaches & brain fog. My wife works in Sanford Neurology. She got me an appointment and sat in with me to make sure I told the Neurologist everything.

I feel like now is a good time to remind everyone that #SiouxperCon hosted the biggest Burlesque and Drag show in #SouthDakota opposite of Noem's Governor's Cup Rodeo for 3 years straight. Same day. Same building. Then gave the door to Make-A-Wish, JY6 Foundation and REACH Literacy.

Rolling Stone traces Kristi Noem’s catastrophic DHS implosion back to her South Dakota reign: shield‑bashing National Guard, Corey Lewandowski, shady ad deals, and a deadly obsession with performative cruelty. Everyone saw it coming.

Kristi Noem had a long history of missteps, scandals, and idiotic moments before Donald Trump tapped her to lead the Department of Homeland Security.

I believe that protection of the *brand*, corporate and personal, has done more to hurt American Athletes on the world stage than help. It removes spontaneity, freedom of expression, joy and emotion while adding unrealistic expectations, duality, marketing plans and detachment.
