Lovely first half...what a difference it makes having a proper striker... Tierney and Engels excellent too. Kamikaze stuff from Killie though - playing far too open

“The famine is over! The curse be damned!! Hit the nuclear button! Mayo have won the All-Ireland!!” An all-time great sports commentary moment from Stephen Grealis and Martin McHugh on Mayo’s Midwest Radio. #gaa

Just finished the second series of The Agency. It perhaps veered a little toward the nonsense with the last episode but over the course it was incredibly enjoyable, and properly tense at times. Fassbender, Waterston, Wright and Gere are all very good in it. Recommend.

Loved The Odyssey. Brilliant.

Well done Galway. As comfortable and dominant a second half in the All Ireland SF as I can remember in recent times. Easy.

This is a lovely bit of writing about a wonderful place. I was at the first Pogues show last week and the look on Spider's face...the Barras was special to him. And Peter gets that, and captures it here in the details.

Brilliant, unbridled mayhem at The Pogues tonight. It’s so cool when the band loves the Barrowlands as much as the audience.

Halfway through The Agency. Really enjoying it - slow burning but each episode moves thing along, uncertainty over how things will play out and strong performances all round.

Some new music I've been enjoying recently, including some I missed last year or got into late '24 Very happy these guys are still making new music. Gets stronger as it goes on. In a similar vein of recent releases, variation but still has louder moments. Hits a lot of sweet spots. Very good

First time I've watched the Uncloaked thing...they talk such rubbish about about the show. Probably as these these shows tend to be but grating after a disappointing last few episodes. This season didn't get going really, and not as good as the last run
