Trump is confusing pneumonia with pneumonic plague. These are two *very* different diseases, whose only commonality is infecting the lungs (pneumon = lung). Even untreated pneumonia has a relatively low case fatality rate (~<20%), whereas untreated PP's CFR is > 97%, worse even than bubonic plague.
