Who the heck sells 95 octane these days? We were washing Silver Arrow hot rod this morning. Recommended 95 octane, 91 minimum. I think I've seen 93 at a few stations in Nashville, TN. I think the best we can get locally is 93 ethanol free.

*amused* My husband picks on me for wearing my Ugg boots in this heat. Me: "My hooves hurt. The boots are comfortable". The pattern also reminds me of the tribes which is fitting considering we live in Choctaw Nation territory.

For the horse and rider people. I believe this is one of the stirrups from a 1960-70 mounted police saddle my mom obtained.....somewhere. It has some kind of quick release? Would this be left or right?

We are blessed to have good, kind people in our lives. Our vet sent me a picture of Pistol at his new forever home. The girls at the clinic braided his mane and tail. I think he looks good and healthier.

Yesterday afternoon, Rascal, the palomino, crossed the rainbow bridge. You led the herd at the ranch and you were mean to Pistol but you were a good boy and you will be missed. We will never forget you.

If I go missing..... My husband probably killed me for bringing a saddle or two home with me. Not sure where my mom got this but this was a Captain's saddle. Gotta find the stirrups that go with it. I've ridden with this. It is very comfy.

I think today was the first time I've ever driven the 4x4 3500HD diesel dually off the farm. Took it to pressure wash all the grime off. Nothing like putting your hoof in a big ass diesel. He'll scoot and pull a house down. I chained it to the MF tractor to tow it out the yard.

My husband teases me about all of my Ugg boots. "We should open a store." I probably have around 15 pair of boots if you include the 3 pair of cowboy and 2 pair of motorcycle boots. :-) Not pictured: My old and very comfy riding boots which I was wearing. ^.~

I feel like a very slow, single man, pit crew. Yesterday: Kevin: "My tire pressures feel off?" Me: "I will balance them tomorrow." Minimal balance issues on the Mercedes. This is some of the best money I've ever spent on a device that lives with me in the Cadillac. I'm a very good pony.
