Lae wrapped one arm over Quinn's shoulders and smiled, leaning against her and taking a deep breath. "Alright.. I, uh, think I'm ready.." she said softly, shifting her feet to try to balance while leaning on Quinn.

She shook her head. "No, they're just kinda freaking out. Something about dragons." She smiled kindly, and shook her head. Then winced again. "Oh will you quit it!-"

She downed her water, sputtered a little, then got up and nodded, her footing shaky. "I'm.. mh. Can you help me?" She was suddenly very aware of her lack of balance.

She gave an apologetic smile and nodded. "If it's, uh, not too much trouble.. sorry." Then her blush suddenly darkened and she shifted nervously.

She tilted her head, nodding a little. "Sure. I can hold off for the day, take a rest." She smiled, clearly thankful for Quinn's offer. "Uh... No. I don't have a room, I should be.. ok to get one." She checked her purse, pouted a little, then nodded. "Should be. Yeah. Or I'll take a ditch."

She sighed. "Sorry. Yeah. I've got a psychic bond with.. something and they're a little loud sometimes." She smiled apologetically, shaking her head. "They're on edge right now because *apparently* there's some powerful magic here. I don't know."

"I'll be fine. Just had someone freaking out in my ear a bit ago." She smiled, shaking her head. Then she winced. "Ow- ok, yeah, sorry-" she muttered, trying to keep it quiet enough for Tatsuyami to not hear. But probably failing.

Lae suddenly winced and hissed. "Ow- sorry- Uh, not been on one in a while. Didn't mind helping out on it though." She smiled, a faint (but very obvious) blush on her face.

She shrugged. "Normally, I probably would take a break after that. But now I gotta get a new party, and this shit-" She gestured toward the empty glass. "Is eating my savings. Didn't get shit to sell today either, so.. yea. No break." She sighed again, taking the glass of water and sipping at it.

She nodded a little, and looked over at Quinn with sad, wet eyes. "Mhm. Didn't see a trap and fell in a pit. They said I was a liability and left me down there." She sighed, then shook her head. "Sorry. I'm a mess. I gotta get out there again tomorrow and.. ugh."

"huh? Yeah, I'm fine." She lied cleanly, giving Yami a faked smile. Then it faded and she bit her cheek in thought. "So, uh, hi. How are you?" She asked softly, annoyance giving out to curiosity.

"shiddy fuckin dungeon. Noct got hurt, party dumped me. Make your pick." She downed the last of her glass, coughing a little before letting out a low sigh. She was having to put effort into her words now, and she was finding that about as annoying as her bad day. "This ain't working, is it?"

@darkdragoness.bsky.social Laelana scowled a little under her hood as she walked through the town, her arms crossed over her chest as she muttered complaints under her breath. She'd been having a rough day, and now she was having to deal with her eidolon being especially paranoid.

She winced as she approached, her brow furrowing as she shook her head. "Sorry, Noct." She said under her breath, though it was very unlikely anyone could hear over the noise. She decided to wait. Hopefully the woman would be done soon..

A pause. Then a small sigh, and she put the glass down. "... A mess?" She eventually offered, the words measured and slow to make sure she pronounced them right, staring at the glass with sad eyes. "Shorry."

"shhumwhat, yeh-" Laelana was already slurring her words; being 5ft and an ancestry with very low average bodyweight for a human-derivative was not helping her alcohol tolerance. She looked at Quinn and gave her own half-hearted smile before turning back to her glass. "Am a adventurer- usually.."

I don't enjoy writing in first person at all. This also means I don't enjoy having my muses referred to as 'you'. If i had to explain it, it's like this; it removes a barrier that I find necessary for the interactions in rp.

Laelana, Shadow's Summoner @shadowsdelight.bsky.social · 10h

I'm also going to block male accounts that try interacting with lewdrp posts. I'm a lesbian, and while I don't mind writing fluff with male accs, I will *incredibly* rarely write lewd with them. If you're the one-in-a-million, I'll probably shoot you a dm.

I will block anyone who is reliant on AI images. They ick me out and while i dont mind one or two in a blue moon, they upset me you almost exclusively use them. Also, you'll be unfollowed if I see you reposting AI 'artist' accounts.

Noct usually appears as a shadowy humanoid with white eyes, however they can take more varied forms, often liking to hide within Laelana's shadow, but they can now mimic Laelana quite effectively, however their skin is notably darker, closer to a deep grey than Laelana's bleached white.

As a Wisp Fetchling, Laelana is a rather slight woman, and very able to squeeze into small gaps. She is, however, a notably powerful Spellcaster, is decently capable with most common weapons, and is rarely alone.

(2/2) Her face is slim, almost gaunt, though oddly regal, faintly reminiscent of the Azlanti of old. Around her feet swirls a shadow that is not her own, small white eyes occasionally appearing in the darkness, but vanishing just as quickly.

Laelana . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . (1/2) A relatively diminutive figure at barely 5ft, the woman is incredibly slender; almost uncomfortably so. She wears dark robes that cover most of her body, her head hidden under her hood. Her hands are pale, and her fingertips seem almost translucent when she moves.

As much as I loved fire, when I made her I, she got influenced by people who are no longer around and she's kinda too attached to them in my mind for a comfortable muse reset. If I get to play her again in dnd that *might* change but honestly it probably won't.
