That makes sense. Don’t want to get spoiled. And likewise.

We'll remain in Vector and watch for anything out of the ordinary. #FF6

Sabin and Edgar read the newspaper. It says, "Vector Times - King Figaro shows true colors! Betrays Gestahl!"

Setzer looks at a magazine. It's called Gestahlian Life magazine and has a picture of a smiling soldier with a smiling child on his shoulders and his smiling wife behind him. Cover advertises easy recipes, ideas for curfew, fun things to do inside, updated guide to civilian magic, fun magic exercises for kids, how to apply for magic infusion

Cyan and Gau walk by a large red billboard. It says Report Returners and three stylized men point. A starburst is right over Cyan's head.

That is one of the sweetest and also saddest parts of the game. The fact that his immediate instinct upon seeing her (seemingly) out of her crystal is to go to hold and comfort her. He just loves her so much… Also the way that just seeing her is enough to help him regain control of Chaos. My heart.

That man caused, or was at least involved in most of the bad stuff that happens in FF7. I also want to draw that, bc I’ve wanted to for a while and it sounds adorable. Possibly with adopted daughter/little sister Shelke. I may also work on some of my VinLu or Crescent-Valentine family fics.

That makes sense. I don’t imagine that Vincent would be much of a hugger for most people. But we know for a fact that he would absolutely be more than happy to hold Lucrecia and he probably wouldn’t want to let go for a long time.

110

ShadowSageIngEmpress @shadowsagedarkling.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

I can absolutely see why. Vincent isn’t very emotive, so it’s very sweet to see him show what he’s feeling. And his smile is adorable. That is a shame, but Lucrecia is pretty much always cute, and she still looks very nice here. I can imagine that she’s tearing up with joy at being with him again.

No problem! They’re easily my favorite pairing in FF7, but very underrated in my experience, so it’s always nice to see someone else who likes them. If I may ask, what program is it? I kind of want to check it out now.

A very large amount of that collective trauma is due to Hojo. Honestly, the Crescent-Valentine family should have a big cuddle pile on a comfy bed with a bunch of pillows and blankets, plenty of good food, and spend the night watching cartoons together. I think it would do a lot to help them heal.

He un-doomed her from the narrative! This is the best possible ending. The hug in the third picture and Vinnie’s smile in the first one are just adorable.

Redrew some of my older drawings a little while ago. Figured I might as well share them here, too. #FinalFantasyVII #MemeRedraw #VincentValentine #LucreciaCrescent #Sephiroth

A drawing of Vincent Valentine sitting in a metal folding chair and sulking, clearly in reference to a similar scene in Neon Genesis Evangelion

Same deal, but now with a young Sephiroth

No problem! As an artist myself, I get that having someone appreciate your work can mean the world and inspire you to keep creating. The least I can do is show that appreciation when I find something I really like. Talent recognizes talent, y’know?

That and many other things. Poor girl had it so far beyond rough. They definitely deserved to be together again. I feel like her presence would definitely help ease Vincent’s loneliness and that his love would help her to heal.

010

ShadowSageIngEmpress @shadowsagedarkling.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

The thing is that the crystal is a self-imposed prison. Which makes the ending even sadder. Even though the planet is safe, even though Hojo is dead, even though Vincent still cares about her, she can’t forgive herself. I do wish we could see her truly leave the crystal and be with Vincent again.

110

ShadowSageIngEmpress @shadowsagedarkling.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

Ain’t that the truth. It’s both very sweet and very sad just how similar they are, especially in that regard. They really are perfect for each other, and it’s really a shame that they never truly reunited. What really sucks is she never gets a happy ending.

Absolutely. There’s some real double standards there. Just look at her actions and how she punished herself for it compared to how the Turks and Rufus got slaps on the wrists for what they did. Definitely, she’s much more important to the story than her spot as a side character may suggest.

tumblr is having a great one about this, little masterpiece of a post I'd say

first post reads: Pro-censorship wattpad refugees drama is so funny to me because when I started using ao3 as a kid I was a devout mormon and I thought that reading anything even remotely pornagraphic was a sin and would ruin my life. So when I was 13 and found ao3 I went "oh awesome I found a fanfic website with a filtering system so I won't ever randomly stumble into porn. This is great! I was really worried about seeing something I didn't want to see on the other platforms." I didn't read any smut online until like three years later. If a mormon 13 year old can figure out 'don't like don't read' wattpad users can too cmon you guys i believe in you.
reblog reads: "you're less internet savy than a 13 year old mormon" is a diabolical thing to say to someone, I support it
