Finalist @ 13Horror.com. Was pleased because this is my "f' it" Script, where I didn't reign in my literary-style voice at all, went balls-to-wall with my # of characters, included craziest insights into how the universe works, and sprayed blood on every wall. Chuffed w/feedback too #script #horror

Again, this was my "f' it" Script, & it moreover plays in the $100M gardens, so I knew it would never get made from a newbie. I just needed to get it down.
-- But lookit how cool the Feedback wuz from this Fest I didn't win, while I head out to my big-time sandwich delivery!

Screenwriting "poster" visual in tones of orange with an impossibly huge moon bearing down upon sillhouetted spires of a manor house, as a bird flies away.
It reads: All knowing, all powerful Creator, there can be nof greater God." -- But There Is. -- One more sacrifice. and the Universe changes forever.
None Greater Than (with title struck-through).
This poster is overlaid on another poster that seems visuall the same.

The Feedback materials read:
"Reading None Greater Than felt like walking into a fully imagined place and realizing, a few pages in, that it has its own weather, its own gravity and its own rules. From the opening cosmic imagery to the slow reveal of Dickensgate Manor, you establish mood with confidence and patience. And the same applies to your characters: it's seldom I read a screenplay with 15 or 16 speaking parts, but they were each delineated, and provided excitement and function. The early classroom scene with Wangerin works especially well. It isn’t just exposition, it tells us who he is and why people follow him. Later, the “rats” sequence on the lane is genuinely unsettling, and that ending!

I was also impressed by how naturally the philosophy, religion and math elements are folded into the story. The Fibonacci motif and the prayer-wheel logic feel like obsessions growing inside these characters. That gives the horror an emotional engine, not just a visual one. If there’s an allegory here about belief, control, and the danger of trying to impose meaning on chaos, it lands without being preachy. It’s there for readers who want it, and invisible to those who don’t.

You’re a great writer and very visual. Overall, this is ambitious, smart, and often genuinely creepy. "

For those unmoved by the deaths on our streets, by the detaining of toddlers, who questions "why didn't you protest Obama" ... who still thinks this is normal: “Don’t go – not with Trump in charge. It’s totally out of control over there. They don’t seem to need a reason for detaining you.”

Early joggers stunned this week when the body of a Chuck E. Cheese animatronic washed up on the rocks of Metro Beach. Robot removed, bt the discovery has inspired a memorial w/visitors leaving Chuck E. Chs plushes, tokens, & a man pouring Pepsi frm a C.E.Chs cup quietly saying “This is for Charles.”

A closed-eye animatronic of Chuck E. Cheese lays amidst rocks and snow, it's chest horribly ripped open. The sea forms a backdrop with pale blue sky, overarching.

He still has a contented smile upon his face, as of course he would.

My question is “Where did he get these latex masks?” I’m pretty cognizant of at least magazine-sold masks in the 50s and 60s, and have never seen any of these.

We've homed this cat for 5 years. She's come for pets, sat next to me, and sat on my lap for extended periods. She's never fallen asleep on my lap. Until last night. 5 years Verklempt when I wasn't aware of how much my heels hurt on the coffee table. But I was NOT taking my legs down #Cat -amonday

Ahem: MY Fantastic Four (for longer than most of yas have been alive).

From "The World's Greatest Comic Magazine,"
the original and best FF, created by Jack "King" Kirby with an assist by Stan Lee.
Four adventurers in a flying bathtub seek adventure and injustice that their amazing powers can help them address.
Ben Grimm as The Thing, his hide still in it's dinosaur-hide mode in this early pic, Sue Storm, The Invisible girl, who will someday become the team's most powerful member, Reed Richards, whose brain stretches far wider than his elastic powers, and Johnny Storm, the high-flying Human Torch.

Also, placing oneself in the path of a moving vehicle constitutes officer-created jeopardy and undermines any claim that deadly force was necessary.

Villanueva vs. Cali (2021): “a reasonable jury could conclude that the Officers used excessive force, because they lacked an objectively reasonable basis to fear for their own safety, as they could simply have stepped back or to the side to avoid being injured.”

Cordova v Aragon (2009): Where the officer had moved out of the way of the oncoming vehicle, the use of deadly force was not justified.

Kirby vs. Duva (2008): Officers cannot create or avoid danger and then use deadly force anyway. Share someone who looks stylish wearing gloves.

Claude Rains as The Invisible Man (okay, an excellent action figure, thereof).
I adore any of the linen-wrapped "monsters." The Mummy, The Invisible Man, Rebus/Larry Trainor of The Doom Patrol.

In glorious b&w, Jack Griffin stands with a defiant fist raised, his face swathed in bandages, ascot high, gloves, dark glasses with side-pieces covering his eyes. His black bathrobe has elegant checks at the collar, cuffs, pockets and waist-tie.

And what a performance by Rains.
