Been in Toulouse for almost 2 days so far. Seen thousands and thousands of people cycling, yet only 27 people with plastic cycling hats on. Just shows that when you prioritise people over cars everyone is much safer.

At my partner's previous department there are nearly as many staff as students now, and the staff are really worried about their jobs. Before she left (5 years ago) it was pretty much full, and 90% were overseas students. Rich overseas students, paying top whack for their course.

I've had two run ins with WYP in the last couple of weeks because of my phone driver submissions. I've told them the next one they get from my cameras will be my partner sending it in after a driver has hit me. I do keep toying with an ebike, just for my commutes. My fear is I'll enjoy it so much that my other bikes will become redundant! I am trying to get my partner to get an ebike, as her asthma means she really struggles on some of the Yorkshire hills. She's resisted so far.
