Enigma Infanta takes a ton of cues from Zelda (especially Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask), while Lolopolo is more like... King's Quest VII and NiGHTS into Dreams

I feel like both my stories have their own unique aesthetics, but both of them have casts that fully encompass what it means to be a Sh1n1 Character

Scorpions are truly perfectly-crafted animals. There's nothing you can do to a scorpion to make it scarier or cooler in any way. Any strong alterations are an automatic downgrade. Even the Underking is somewhat restrained because I removed what the mouth would be on the scorpion part.

My favorite songs for the Underking are "Leviathan" by Dirt Poor Robins, which is how he would prefer to depict himself; and "Against the Kitchen Floor" by Will Wood, which is the more accurate reflection of his character arc lmao

My favorite song for the Water Baron is "Rivers is a Vampire" by Bear Ghost. It's very much his vibe, and while I guess he isn't a vampire in the traditional sense, he is juicing the life force out of something else to keep himself beautiful. Close enough.

I spent two days drawing this and then pulled up the other two I'd already done and cracked myself the fuck up. They're so messy and he's so smooth and voluminous. His hair's also too short but I didn't want to go much further down.

A bust of my character the Water Baron, a man with long, teal hair and a black orb set into his forehead. He's smirking and baring large fangs, and has fairly defined muscles. His left eye is covered by part of his hair, but a thin pink scar can be seen running across it from what is peeking out.

Whenever I start making this thing for real I'll stop giving always all the secrets but for now I just like talking

Next I gotta do the Prince but I barely know what the Prince looks like even with his clothes on, so that's gonna be a doozy.

My oversized arachnid... I'm still on the fence about exactly what his human body feels like. Is he squishy or is that more carapace made to look human? Both options are equally likely. If the Prince swung that glass sword at him it would shatter on impact either way.

I just remembered that I have the original sketch of him saved too, if anyone wants a peek into the Sh1n1 Process for something like this.

It occurred to me that I have two completely different explosion-themed characters who are both Water-themed instead of, like, Fire-themed. That's probably the Megaman Fan coming out in me. Love you always and forever Pirateman

Tonight I draw the Water Baron shirtless and then describe the hilarious mental loops I had to jump through to get there because he is a special boy

The Flame Popess is the one who united the Four. Two hundred years before the story began she went on a worldly pilgrimage, stopping in each major settlement in turn and seeking out the most powerful entity in the area. Though she looks mostly human, she, too, is a beast, and was drawn to them.

The cruelest thing I ever did to the Underking was put him in the Enigma Infanta story instead of in Lolopolo where everyone would've wanted to fuck him. 😔 Sorry bro. You'll find a man someday.

The Prince fucks off for reasons unknown, the Underking is like, oh god, I no longer have an Ace in the Hole. The Water Baron is like, hell yeah, I don't have anyone who can tell me what to do anymore. And the Flame Popess was just already crazy and was only being held back by the three of them

Take him. I have to stop. The Prince of the Aether! Despite being designated a prince, he is fully integrated into the society over which he presides, unlike the other three elemental beasts. This is because he himself is half human. Accordingly, he also has a human name: Aquila!

A man with feathery blue hair that covers his eyes. He has an elaborate halo behind his head and a light blue orb imbedded in his throat. He has a dark feathered collar growing from the back of his neck. He has a string of chimes strung across his shoulders, hanging over white banners that cover a bird cage seemingly housing his dark feathered chest. One arm is a talon, while the other is a human hand holding a glass sword. He holds a golden faberge egg between his talon fingers. He has a feather-like cloak with a dark interior, from within which orange eyes can just barely be seen.
