I like the opinions on Bluesky better in general. I’m just a little sad it feels like crypto is really frowned upon here and art + crypto has genuinely changed my life. I like making art but feel like print/high art just isn’t for me.

I think I saw a post by Musk the other day that quoted some “if someone else has to work it’s not a human right” thing. I see his point, but also like - people have to work to provide clean water, food, shelter (usually). Human rights don’t just … manifest - we agree on them and fulfill them.

I had a period in life when a mentor quoted from Sirach 38 at me. There may come a time when recovery lies in the hands of physicians, for they, too, pray to the Lord that he grant them success … I hope you find some healing. I recommend that passage to people myself these days.

It was so meta that you couldn’t suspend disbelief long enough to enjoy any of the plot or fights (even though the intended plot was ridiculous). Felt kind of like a dvd bonus feature cameo stretched into a feature length film.
