I still can’t believe I got to see Romeo + Juliet. The past few days have been such an amazing relief from all the stress and fear of living in LA rn, and I got to spend it with my best friend watching 2 actors I love perform some amazing theater. Lucky and grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it.

My D&D character of 2.5 years is a fantasy Boy Scout. His dad was one, and when he passed away Rohice he became obsessed with it, fully throwing himself into it. Even after he earned his last badge, he continued wearing his sash for months. It was his whole identity. Tonight, he took off his sash.

i really feel like people have forgotten that exploring character IS a part of developing a story, even if not much changes from beginning to end of an episode (or comic issue, or whatever), if the audience has learned more about the character or setting, that's meaningful. that's still storytelling
