iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I miss all the modeling and converting support gw use to have. The Chapterhouse situation really brought an end to it.

That is some nice screen work.

I was wondering is that a Ork Braincrusha? If so how was it made?

A lot of 40k players are tournament players. It is a little annoying when you spend time and money on army for it to suddenly no longer be legal. Also unit gradually disappear from Legends over time.

Test model for a Votaan Army. Painted it black then dry brushed ironbreak on all the armor. After that went over the dry brush areas with a red contrast. Was trying for a shiny red. Was a learning experience. Feedback or advice is welcomed. #Votaan #warhammercommunity #nerdlings #40k

Completed Crimson Fist Tactical Squad with Boltguns. I had not realize I built two exactly same. #warhammer #warhammer40k #40k #warhammercommunity #crimsonfist #nerdlings

Completed Crimson Fist Tactical Squad Comms Specialist. No special rules, just felt a squad should have a comms specialist. Represent squad 2nd leader when split into combat squads. #warhammer #warhammer40k #40k #warhammercommunity #crimsonfist #nerdlings

They look way longer to do than the terminators, but they are done and looking super menacing. #Nerdlings

5 space marine sternguard veterans, painted as Red Scorpions. They have grey armour, with white helmets and yellow shoulders. Their robes are red.

It really is a fucking banner. You would think a movie about a jury would be boring. But it has a interesting story full of drama and twists.

Looks nice. She has a very irritated feel to her look.

Still have mine. Always debated about painting them.

Red Scorpions transfers have arrived. A really annoying shape to get flat, but it looks pretty good. #Nerdlings

Side view of a grey space marine terminator. It’s right shoulder is yellow with a Red Scorpion symbol in the centre

Looks nice and part of the shoulder paint. Putting on transfers always frustrates me.

Still working on Crimson Fist project. Added squad marking transfers to tactical squad. #warhammer #crimsonfist

Fun things on the internet seem to always take a dark route these days.

000

I had a feeling it would be so avoided it. Cute fun internet things of late always seem to be.

Sad to hear but it was in abit of doom spiral. Hopefully it will find new life.

Recall them stating they were going have another company make the models but they were still going to own the property. Guess thing got worse for pp and they had to sell it off.

They were metal when I was playing. PP had this weird pride that all there kits were metal back then. Glad to see the moved over to plastic.

Same. It is a pretty terrible app.

But i use the internet for hobby stuff...

Severed @severed.bsky.social · 17/06/2026

I am oddly concerned I recall 95% of these. I think I may of watched to much TV as a kid.

That mug is the perfect size for dunking.

Severed @severed.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

Looks like just a bad edit. Like some said the marine should be firing a bolter instead of just holding it. AI would of created more oddities than just one. But who know these days.

Painted the classic red trooper line on the tactical squad. Some are a little crooked.

I think the model was suppose to represent before he got it. Same reason bragg was in the squad still. Great conversion!

Severed @severed.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

Nice job. Really captured brutality of the Iron warriors with paint job.

Severed @severed.bsky.social · 17/05/2026

Looks very draenei. Nice work!

Severed @severed.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

Looks, really like the paint job on Garlon.

Severed @severed.bsky.social · 14/05/2026

Thanks. Always debated making an army of them. Started them for the re-re-release of the battle at the farm scenario. Morphed into a retro style army from there.

Severed @severed.bsky.social · 14/05/2026

Yes, that metal turret was a bit heavy on the old style plastic rhino.

Severed @severed.bsky.social · 14/05/2026

Thanks. Always wanted one myself as well. Back in distant times managed to scrape together enough to buy one, then they discontinued it due to the mould issues.
