I’d also check out the Hoopla app as well. I’ve seen Berserk and some others on there. They also have a good selection of comic books as well. The Kanopy app also has some anime movies and shows in there too.

The Japan Foundation currently gives USA/Canada citizen free library cards for Libby to read manga. If you are from somewhere else it’s possible to contact them to see if they can expand their services.

Not all mangaka are making millions and they have to eat too. Not everyone buys from piracy or from reading it from the library, however there is a difference. When people show interest in the library, the library pays money to keep the ebooks there. That money goes to the authors.

Piracy is different because the book is bought once and then shared btw people. There’s no renewal fee to the author & publisher keeping it up on that site. I understand piracy is a service issue but not many mangaka want to know or see their stuff pirated.

Borrowing ebooks and other digital media from the library, authors usually get royalties from the license to get renewed every once in awhile. Ebooks have a limited stay in the library because you have to show that people want it to be renewed when times up.

Body: Hello - I understand this is a complex issue for you with payment processors and the like, but banning adult content is part of a slippery slope of content erosion and I strongly urge you to take a stand here. If you do not, I fear that more and more content will start to be seen as "objectionable." Once you give an inch to these ideas the next thing to go is "LGBTQ content." What's next after that?

Even if one library has it but another doesn't, you can use an interlibrary loan to read it as well. Usually once the demand is over the library may weed out extra copies through book sales. So a patron might be able to buy the book and support the library. While others may buy it at retail.

Basically, people who tend to really like the books they read from the library will usually try to buy the books later on. Also libraries tend to buy multiple copies if certain series are popular to meet with the demand.

If it still doesn't show up and you can't communicate with the seller, I'd contact etsy first. But if that somehow doesn't work you might be able to issue a chargeback with your bank.
