Still the coolest final boss fight in the entire series for my money I remember getting to this as a kid expecting Egg Robo to be in the Big Arm machine from the Sonic 3 half of the game and nearly pissing myself when the Doomsday Zone music kicked in Sonic 3 & Knuckles is so fucking cool man

Unironically one of the best compliments I've ever gotten on a video. Made my day.

I don't think I've ever really talked about my music tastes on here outside of video games, so here's 9 albums that shaped me as a person (Just so we're clear, I don't fw Kanye or his views, but LR dropped my freshman year of HS and kinda shaped how I interacted with music going forward in life)

Going to stream Pokemon Yellow tonight for a bit BUT first, we'll take a look at a 'lil something on stream

Man I love modding handhelds with pixel grid displays lol Got some ideas for Game Boy Color & Game Boy Pocket builds, should probably get around to learning how to replace capacitors since I have a Game Gear that needs that done

A Neo Geo Pocket Color, Game Boy Advance, and Game Boy Advance SP, all modded with backlit IPS screens.

SeventhForce @seventhforce.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Some comparison pictures and a picture of the surgery itself! The zoomed out Mega Man Zero picture is with the previous screen & buttons, zoomed in one w/ the pixel grid is the new build

Finally finished my Sega Astro City custom GBA! Swapped the lime green buttons I've used for the last few years for neon green closer to the Astro City cab buttons and put in a v5 IPS screen and did the soldering for the on screen display. There's a little light bleed at the top but I'll live, lol

Most of the stream was RNG hell, but luck came back around by the end of it all. Can't make this stuff up.

Found out there's a homebrew utility that lets you transfer Pokemon from Gen 1 & 2 cartridges to gen 3 carts, all on original hardware. Let's give it a whirl.

SeventhForce @seventhforce.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I kinda feel like every year a new one of these "post some video games" grid lists pop up on social media and essentially ask you to list your favorite games Decided if I was going to do one of these again, I wanted to engage deeper with the question posed. Explanations for each game in the replies

SeventhForce @seventhforce.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Picked up some games I've been putting off getting for a while. Only $65 in all, and Visions was only $15 of that. Insane.

Every time I get really jaded about modern comic books a fun ass crossover comes out to remind me that this medium is pretty fucking great, actually

Wild how Dimps spent the better half of the 2000s trying to chase the absolute high of this level and still never quite landed it (Nonaggression is pretty dope though, great vibes)

Got one third of the Pokemon Yellow Dex complete and printed out! One fun thing I'm doing with the nicknames is having every Pokemon named after either a fighting game character, or a character that's at least been playable in a fighting game. Have fun guessing the identities of some of these!

SeventhForce @seventhforce.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Also bought a slightly smaller notepad and actually transferred the Pokedex entries* from the streams into the new one and reprinted the dex entries on the new paper this morning. Will be using this one from now on It's only 150 pages, but I can stick Mew on the backside of Mewtwo's eventual entry.

Alright last hobby post of the day before I go to work but my Seiko s950 paper for the GB printer finally came in this morning and it's a night and day difference in quality from what I was using before. ... probably going to have to reprint all those dex entries for Pokemon Yellow now, lol

Also holy shit there's a gamemadness ad in here, have not thought about them in a while Had a friend with this same magazine actually convince his parents to get him the PS1 import copy of DBZ Legends listed here back in the day since his cousin gave him a device that let him play PS1 import games

On an "buying issues of old video game magazines I used to have but threw out in my teens" arc, not just out of nostalgia but because they actually had pretty convenient strategy guides in 'em. This one particularly has nice, concise guides for Pokemon Stadium 1 and the GBC trading card game.

I know I've posted about it before but I genuinely can't gas up Wario's Castle enough, such a fun final Mario level. Pic is the Super Mario Land 2 DX romhack because I think it's neat

Cannot believe that a) I still own this dumbass accessory b) It still works fine and c) it honestly works better in practice than the little right analog nub on the new 3DS

My friend was downsizing her game collection and sent me the stuff she was otherwise going to give to Goodwill and such, had to clear out some extra shelf space!

Six Game Boy models that have been sitting on my shelf for three years and counting for an extremely funny reason

KoF Dream Match 99 on Dreamcast can send Vs. points to SNK Vs Capcom MoTM via characters and if they have a relationship with the KoF character facilitating the trade, they can give extra points or none at all Have Kyo send Iori points and he tells us both to fuck off and you don't get ANYTHING.

Coming soon... a video about what's probably the single most niche fighting game subject I think I'll ever talk about on my channel. I'll catch y'all when my video on Fighting Game Interconnectivity drops (hopefully) in the next week.

Got the save file from last night into a legitimate Pokemon Yellow cartridge thanks to the GB Operator, can't wait to continue during the next stream (very likely Sunday)!

0111

SeventhForce @seventhforce.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Okay so the GB printer stuff was honestly just a fun little thing for my personal use and had nothing to do with any video stuff but this morning I learned one of the games in my next video supports it by letting you print out character movelists, sorta like a mini instruction sheet on arcade cabs!

SeventhForce @seventhforce.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

As a kid I always had a silly little dream of playing a Pokemon game with the GB printer and making my own 'lil physical Pokedex with it. Well, as an adult capable of making my own questionable financial decisions, I'm finally doing it! I'm having fun indulging some childhood wish fulfillment lol

Sure, it's Seiko S-950 Thermal Paper. I got mine off Amazon:

030

SeventhForce @seventhforce.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

GB Printers use an adhesive thermal paper that has faded over time, so I ordered some thermal paper confirmed to work with it on Amazon after buying this. ...Except the store I got it from already had a roll of working paper in it! So yeah, streaming a very special run of Pokemon Yellow tonight!

All the usual suspects are likely going to be mentioned, so I'll take the time out to mention that the title screen for Spider-Man on GBC has unbelievable aura

1111

SeventhForce @seventhforce.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Been playing King of Fighters Battle de Paradise since it's a small part of the next video and it's a really fun KoF style Mario Party game with a great sense of humor. There's funny things like losing coins because Ryo's broke ass borrowed money from you or Chizuru getting foreclosed on

572

SeventhForce @seventhforce.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Not only do you get all three bonuses, it SPECIFICALLY tells you that you get it for having Budokai 2 *and Budokai 1 save data. How the hell has this not been properly documented for over 20 years?
