Happy to share my postdoc work: We developed an ML-based python tool for the selection of reaction scopes that balances the performance and diversity of the selected substrates, allowing benchmarked and standardized scope selection. (1/n) t.co/hCsNslOle0

It’s finally happening!🎉 The Reisenbauer Lab will open in February at ISTA (www.reisenbauerlab.com ). We’re starting to build our team and are looking for enthusiastic scientists to join us. I feel deeply grateful to my mentors, colleagues, and family for all their support. Excited for what’s next!

Palladium-Catalyzed Transfer Iodination from Aryl Iodides to Nonactivated C(sp3)–H Bonds
We report a new strategy for the catalytic iodination of nonactivated C(sp3)–H bonds. The method merges the concepts of shuttle and light-enabled palladium catalysis to employ aryl iodides as both hyd...

New radical cross-coupling using phosphonium salts and HMDS anion as the electron donor: www.nature.com/articles/s41... I watched Sven lead this work experimentally and computationally and was very impressed - very rare for someone to be so adept at both. Great to see his hard work pay off.
