rassicas' water weakness video is my current youtube-with-meal video and i got to the part about bathing yesterday. i find the idea that dome octarian society specifically has ink-based showers as a commonplace thing but surface society doesn't to have amazing implications for dome escapees

shitty comic in ms paint.
panel 1: taniya (inkling, agent 4) explains how her shower works to gabi (octoling, agent 8): "yeah it's tricky at first but you get used to it. basically you turn the center dial clockwise and THEN back to the right temperature and lock it in with the dial on the left and then you open the bottom panel and enter the Konami code which will pull out a piano and then you play clair de lune and then you adjust the pressure with the top dial". gabi gives a thumbs up. their hand is exaggeratedly large.
panel 2: taniya turns away and says, "ok good luck!"
intermission: i skip the parts where gabi undresses and turns on the shower with a banner reading "shower activation montage" bordered by quick sketches of clothes.
panel 3: gabi, in the shower, hair down, looks up at the showerhead - which is dispensing a fine mist of water - and thinks "wow. her usual ink pressure is weak and sucks shit."
