this is the first time ever that I am like writing on multiple sticky notes that are going in the book like, I am about to annotate more than I have ever annotated before

Victor being so glad that the creature has seemingly gone away and he just doesnt care about the consequences of it because its gone and thats all he cares about. oh my goddddd

like the people who write age gap romance aren't old man enjoyers. they like older men, but not like, greying and wrinkles. which i like. give me an old man who can barely get it up!!!

010

zoe @settleforme.bsky.social · 14/10/2026

this is just a me complaint. like the best age gap romance I have read was Problematic Summer Romance. there is a solid gap, its a bit taboo, but like, the romance is genuine and its good! its not like "shes 18 and meets her boyfriends dad who is always 38 for some reason and they fuck"

110

zoe @settleforme.bsky.social · 14/10/2026

guys what if this is what gets me to write a romance novel, the sheer lack of very specific age gap romances that I want lmao

000

zoe @settleforme.bsky.social · 14/10/2026

like a minimum 15yr age gap. that is the bare minimum to me. I don't want like a little age crack, I want a solid gap, dare I say, a chasm

100

zoe @settleforme.bsky.social · 14/10/2026

"hes 32 and a doctor, shes 20 and aimless" NO!!! give me an old man or give me nothing!!!!!

100

zoe @settleforme.bsky.social · 14/10/2026

I am one again begging for my age gap romances that arent just 22yr old with a 38yr old. I want a 28yr old with a 45+ old!!!! I want that man to be greying and have wrinkles!!!

100

zoe @settleforme.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

I want to get up and go to the loo and maybe get another glass of wine but Cosmo is sitting on my legs and has been for like an hour and he never does that and so I cannot move but like I need to move but I can’t 😭

000

zoe @settleforme.bsky.social · 13/10/2026

best friend gave me some of my chrissy pressie early because I have no good way to store my pokémon cards, so I have this little card box and she gave me some of the (apparently many) mr mime cards that she has bought for me/will continue buying for me til xmas I think lol 😂

000

zoe @settleforme.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

and this as well like “such a contrast” yeah. that is what you implied when you described some in leather and another in fancy armour? like?? this book is fully 1000 pages but i think i gotta lock in and do what i did with DCC and read the book to be an informed brando sando disliker

120

zoe @settleforme.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

like is this DCC why are we describing things like we’re in a video game in the tutorial section?

120

zoe @settleforme.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

my sudden need to read fantasy has brought me to starting Way of Kings at midnight and my goodness I do not like Brando Sando’s writing style at all

110

zoe @settleforme.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

I really am out here calling myself an asoiaf stan and I havent even read adwd lmao

000

zoe @settleforme.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

100

zoe @settleforme.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

dude the more I think about it the more I'm like, did I just give this a 4 star because of the maester cressen prologue? like low key yeah

oh yeah I do thats fine, and I didn't have to update anything so I'm all good. its just annoying in general

000

zoe @settleforme.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

I don't know what the fuck it would be but we need a more standardised ID for those of us that don't drive that can be recognised on the same level as a driving license.

110

zoe @settleforme.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

thought I would have to update my enrolment for the election for a hot second and you have to have either a drivers/learners, passport, or birth certificate. and Proof of age cards are explicitly not allowed like what the fuck. like yeah I have my birth certificate but jesus

110

zoe @settleforme.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

groups of people that the world is hostile to for no fucking reason - people who don't drive/have a drivers license - people who don't have a passport lilke jesus fuck trying to prove I am a person without these is a nightmare!

000

zoe @settleforme.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

trying freeform crochet for the first time and just making a shape and using different stitches to shape it with no intention of what it will look like is so calming and nice

Some know I refuse to use the term, "terf" as that feels like condoning that one can be trans-exclusionary as a feminist, which is fuckery, so I really appreciated Marlon James' "fart" acronym for Feminist Assuming Radical Transphobe, which I will most certainly be using generously in the future!🤣🤣🤣
