I hate fireworks. I hate the people who make them. I hate the people who sell them. I hate the people who buy them. I hate the people who set them off. I hate the people who enjoy them. May they all suffer until the death of time.

1) Yamazaki replaced late-Yūko Mizutani for the role of Ikuko Tsukino for the "Crystal" series (the latter passed away in May 2016 from breast cancer) 2) Yamazaki now marks the fourth JP VA in "Crystal" series to have passed away following Mizutani, Hikari Yono & Takaya Hashi

^As of today in 2026, both VAs of Ikuko Tsukino in "Crystal" series have passed away. (And yes, spooky as it sounds, Yamazaki passed away 10 years apart from Mizutani 😱)

Happy Mother's Day to Neo Queen Serenity. Telling your daughter the same kind of scary stories that gave you nightmares as a child in your past life is A+ parenting 😈

Sailor Moon manga page showing Chibiusa telling Usagi and Mamoru that Neo Queen Serenity would tell her bedtime stories about cursed diamonds, vampires, and other occult topics.

Sailor Moon manga page showing a young Princess Serenity come crying to Queen Serenity because she's having nightmares due to the scary stories Venus and the other girls were telling her.

Pluto - Approximate True Color - From Aster Cowart (terrasabaea.bsky.social) - flic.kr/p/yNoRBQ

Alteration of the official New Horizons "extended color" release in order to approximate true color.

This works on the assumption that the green and blue channels in the official MVIC release represent essentially raw MVIC red and blue filters. The green and blue channels were blended (55% red, 45% blue; determined by comparing to older true color image releases). The green channel in the official image release became red, and the synthetic green channel was inserted in its place.

I guess a recolor is the closest thing to a new outfit for Setsuna that the '90s anime was going to give us 🥲 #SailorMoon
