Simplification, yes. Deregulation of fundamental rights, no. Concerns are growing ahead of tomorrow’s Antici Simplification talks on the #DigitalOmnibus and its impact on #GDPR, workers’ data and trustworthy AI.

🔺 @vonderleyen.ec.europa.eu’s pact against "gold-plating" runs counter to both the spirit and the letter of #SocialEurope. EU law sets minimum standards, not maximum ceilings. Stronger worker protections are not regulatory failures. They are the point!

'Företagsråden stärker konkurrenskraften'
På Unionen och Sveriges Ingenjörer sätter man stort hopp till de nya reglerna om europeiska företagsråd. En minimal implementering skulle knappast gynna konkurrenskraften, hävdar man.

Sweden is falling behind on EU labour law. The #PayTransparency Directive is delayed. The #PlatformWork Directive will almost certainly also be implemented after the deadline.

💬Social dialogue & collective bargaining are business assets, not compliance burdens. The Commission's CS3D guidelines should recognise their role in strengthening due diligence, improving risk prevention and supporting responsible business conduct. #CS3D #SocialDialogue

Psychosocial risks must be addressed 🧐 but MEP Ceulemans’ report goes too far. By prescribing how employers must delegate prevention tasks, it risks blurring accountability & weakening the core principle: management holds ultimate #OSH responsibility. 🛑Delete art. 15!
