Hey, hey, hey! My Crazy Taxi World Tour video discussion is now live! First time making a decent video essay, and for one of my favorite games no less. It's about Crazy Taxi, World Tour, and a 40-year-old SEGA unc. Please enjoy! youtu.be/prOCSdpH080?...

Don't feel bad for me though. I know very well that twitter is just twitter. And my audience will always respect me. I just need a little legroom so I can do something to give something for my viewers.

To tell you the truth, I've been going through some hard depression. Both because of the harassment I've gotten on twitter and the loneliness of living on my own. I just need something to refuel the fire in my heart.

I really want to go back to basics and make combo videos again. I have a pretty neat idea on what games to cover in the summer and how I'll present them.

lol yeah, I made that one NC combo video. However, I'm not the one that made the "BULLSHIT BLAZING" one that is far more popular than mine. But I'll never stop plugging mine anway. youtu.be/-AmkQkGt8TA?...

I'd love for Sonic Team to return to making non-Sonic games too. For now, they're riding hard with PSO2. They should return to the absurd stuff like Rub Rabbits.

070

Setnaro X @setnarox.bsky.social · 25/11/2025

There was also some weird stuff happening to Sonic Team at the time. On top of working on Sonic 06, they were busy working on an FPS game, 5th Phantom Saga, which would later be quietly cancelled. The game would have had a character using guns with telekinetic powers. DOES THAT SOUND FAMILIAR???

151

Setnaro X @setnarox.bsky.social · 25/11/2025

The hype for 06 was huge. Fans believed Sonic Team was making a triumphant return to the high quality Adventure formula following the average reviewed titles like Shadow and Heroes. SEGA were also showing off stuff that didn't even make it in the final build, like the realtime day/night feature.

150

Setnaro X @setnarox.bsky.social · 25/11/2025

I choose to believe that the only reason fans gas up Sonic 06 as a good game is because they weren't there when there was so much hype building up before release, which only made the release of the game all the more disappointing. Hindsight is always 20/20.

I deleted Twitter months ago due to the raging headache I got concerning the controversy about PG and their design philosophy. I've pretty much given up interacting with the CAG community. Nice to know it's still bad.

We got a month to go before the deadline arrives. There's still plenty of time to get your Bayonetta clips sent over to me. In the meantime, I'll be focusing on editing the final cut of the video. The plan is to release the video on December 19th, as a live premiere.

Sadly, I'm not always overlooking everything on the internet. Ever since I moved out of Florida to live on my own, I've been busy trying to make ends meet. Office job, car maintenance, meal prepping, and just trying to stay warm (it's 32 degrees today). But thx for letting me know about this game.
