Preview of my AU for the @sethoscarazine.bsky.social! ⌛️ 🪷 A chapter two will follow in the digital zine as well! ✨ A sandstorm unearths an ancient ruin near the Temple of Silence. When Sethos goes to investigate, he’s stunned to find a living divine creation within, as beautiful as he is damaged.

Preview Excerpt:

Sethos sets Kuni down on a cracked marble bench, wondering if the heat will be too much for him. But Kuni doesn’t complain when Sethos has him dip his foot into the water to test it. So he helps him undress.

“Dinner will be ready soon,” he says. His hand lingers at the base of Kuni’s neck where the Electro symbol has been stamped into his skin.

“I don’t need to eat,” Kuni rejoins. His answer doesn’t surprise Sethos; though human in shape and form, something about his body is distinctly off. As he stands nude, preparing to lower himself into the bath, Sethos can’t keep his eyes from running all along the length of him. His limbs invite particular scrutiny; at the junction of each, there’s something like a joint that might be found on a doll, allowing movement.

It isn’t anything like Al-Ahmar’s ancient technology. And yet there seems to be something of the divine lingering within him.
