Aial Othera's autonomic control garment (and accoutrements).

Aial Othera, standing, wearing a conformal garment made of hard black rubber with overlayed teal green armor segments and vibrant yellow-pink effector surfaces. An ancient ceremonial dagger hangs at her waist above a red cloth belt.

So you can get around or troubleshoot by telling your router to manually use Google's or Cloudflare's public one (the 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1 IP addresses)

I assume your mobile plan is different to to your home internet provider (since normally they provide the dns service automatically) Your router is probably pointing at a different to DNS to your mobile internet so if its DNS you'd only have a problem with anything going through your router.

What do you mean by "blocked" exactly? Like just unable to access the website? This sounds a lot like DNS/caching issues. You can try google/cloudflare (8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1) in settings. Inconsistency across devices can be when it is pulling from locally cached data.

I love marketplace...

An image of a marketplace listing for a second hand virtual reality headset. The headset is heavily melted as if having been in a fire. The listing just reads "it still works"

For all my audiophile nonsense I think my PC speaker setup would make them cry S/PDIF toslink -> DAC -> headphone amp -> RCA out -> RCA-3.5mm adapter -> sonos play:5 3.5mm line in.

I feel like half the stuff I'm seeing about the steam frame is "but the screens aren't as good as <headset that costs literally twice as much>"

It's kind of hard not to resent that some people seem to just have an army of others ready to reassure them and make them feel better when they stumble or are struggling with their own self-worth...

I see this attitude towards creatives in general and I don't really understand it. I love to see people expand and grow and try new things. It would suck if people just made the same kind of thing over and over again forever.

I'm not after anything crazy just decent. I'd also like to use it for music from a turntable etc. and a lot of soundbar options seem poorly regarded for this I'm thinking the simplest for music is just some nice active bookshelf speakers. Don't even know where to start with a sub

020

Seg @serval.coffee · 12/09/2026

Is anyone in my feed a home theatre/speaker whiz? looking at stuff for home and tossing up between going all in on speakers with an AVR and stuff or just keeping it simple with a nice soundbar, something like the sonos ecosystem
