Many people just want to cruise in Forza Horizon 6 so I'm surprised that the Truck Simulator series didn't have road trips with other vehicles since the beginning. I can see camp sites and parks as destinations for modded RVs and overland vehicles.

The expositions are shoe-horned into scenes that feel way too talky and a lot of the dialogue is stilted anime. But the impossible odds makes Ace Combat 8 the first in the series that I would like to follow the story set in the Strangereal universe.

Today I learned that the Inca is the coolest Oldsmobile I know. With a Syd Mead-like wedge silhouette, a dashboard from Knight Rider, and a steering wheel from Blade Runner surprises like this is why I consider myself a rally guy rather than a car guy.

It looks like Crew Resource Management could be a major contributing factor for the Miami 767 crash. The work van that got hit had the engine knocked out of it and the wreckage gives a glimpse of the horrible ordeal the workers went through.

1/3 I figured out why DLSS 5 is so familiar: it's like HDR tonemapping in a photography workflow. It has similar advantages (realistic lighting, hyperrealism/surrealism styles) and problems (uncanny valley or fugly results if applied indiscriminately).

Doom running on a Canon 550D DSLR which I didn't think the DIGIC 4 processor was capable of. The suggestion of hooking up external controllers and displays to it sounds interesting especially when a mouse and keyboard makes it easier to circle strafe.

Throttle Trace simplifies Formula 1 by handling the steering while players control the throttle and braking. Although Colin McRae Rally 2.0 have more progressive grip in comparison I've had a kid control steering while I did the rest so the idea is viable.

Happy 10 years No Man's Sky. A troubled release followed by constant updates have made NMS one of the most feature-rich games. There are still things in this E3 trailer that NMS hasn't yet lived up to but for the things that matter it has been surpassed.

My first exposure to the YF-23 Black Widow was through Jet Fighter II, and the Advanced Tactical Fighter program was used as drama backdrop for Macross Plus. This model looks so crisp compared to the old Ertl diecast aircrafts I had.
