In contrast to Deus Ex: Human Revolution where you can spend the entire game being a pacifist but the DLC starts with "Yeah, he killed ten of our guys" because your character gets captured off screen. Cool.

I don't think this will last long into season 6, and definitely won't apply to season 7, so that'll be interesting to see when the cutoff is. I'm pretty sure I know when that will be, to the day of first airing. But we'll see.

Seriva Fairywings @seriva.bsky.social · 19h

Not really specifics, more images/scenes/some plots. I have seen these episodes precisely once each when I was still learning my ABCs and somehow my brain still remembers them decades later. Seasons 1-4 had basically no hits, but season 5 was just nonstop "Oh, I know this one." Surreal.

Been watching Star Trek: The Next Generation, on season 6 now, and it's uncanny how much of season 5 has been familiar. I know I watched some of it back when mom and dad were still married(so forever ago), but I didn't think I'd remember any of it. Turns out I do!

I have been informed that this is just what Remedy does with all their games and that Alan Wake is not special. It even extends to Max Payne 3, which they didn't make.

I have to respect the Alan Wake games for being set in the year they're released, every single one. That's dedication.

Light Dragon

Dressed in a white ceremonial gown, Zelda presses a shadowy clawed hand to her chest as tears roll down her cheeks. Though she retains a Hylian appearance, horns now pierce through her golden hair and a serpentine tail whips and coils behind her. She is no longer the princess we once knew.

I always wonder how well people with high IQs would do if they had to take the test in a language they didn't know. Just, you know, for no reason in particular that has nothing to do with colonialism.

I solved that by adding a necklace that shows the opposite form so that there's always a bit of one form in the other. It also shows both at the same time while transformed into something else, as a way to ground those forms as the permanent ones and that they're both equal in importance.

I did a big fursona redesign from anthro tigress to tigerfaun(human upper half, tiger lower) in 2015 that incorporated everything previous into one neat package. That worked pretty well until I also added a sphinx form in 2020. ...And instead of picking one or the other, I chose both.
