Our guinea pig passed yesterday. Part of me feels silly for being an adult that's sad, but he was my little buddy and he was the best, so it's still hard. He was around 6-7, which the vet says is a full lifespan for the little guys.

Thanks! I use it as a sort of gender journal. I have things like makeup tips I got from videos, names for types of clothing, noted dates like when I accepted it, and just stuff like that. It's nice to have a place to get things out that's not just a general purpose journal

I've designed a bracket for a cold shoe light I have that I'm planning to use to scan my own negatives. Using my cell camera as the scanner itself, the bracket holds the film, and the light provides a soft backing light. I just need to tweak the photo settings and max out the light brightness

Of the 36 shots in my first real film roll, only 2 are good enough to share without editing. Black and white film is a very different vibe. I might be able to get a couple more good to go with some light editing. Exposure is still new to me and the camera is fully manual.

Ran a roll of c200 through the new camera to test it since it's an eBay buy. I love the vibe it has. Local shop did 90 minute processing and scanning. Picked up some black and white film too

New camera arrived! Loaded in a cheap 200asa roll to test it out. Everything is pristine as far as I can tell aside from some dust. Also found a local place that does development in 90 minutes so today I'm taking photos and tomorrow I'm developing

I started a new hyper fixation that I outright can't afford, but I can dabble. Picked up a Fujifilm Instax Mini Evo. If you've seen those instant cameras that work like old Polaroids, it's that but digital. You print straight from the cam, but you print what you want. Pre and post edit

And most of this is out of a can because I'm both cheap and low energy. The chili is in the photo (minus spices) and it's 940 cal for about 3 bowls with 105~g protein and 23~g fiber for the pot. Can eat the whole pot and still be under half my goal for a day. Leaves room for snacks +breakfast
