✨It's art raffle time✨ Thank you so much for 1.6k! 💜 Since I love drawing ship art... Let's draw your couples! Post your couples and tell me about your little guys <3 Any kind of ship is fine - romantic or platonic, OC x OC or OC x canon! 💕

An art raffle post as a thank you for 1.6k, showing two drawings of my OC couples (Nareon and Raviel, plus Rulka and Belial) as well as a tiny drawing of myself. It reads "art raffle. To join follow, like, repost and post your couple in the comments. Ends 31.10."

Rotten 🍎🥀 Day 1. Apple #KynArt #OcArt #EasyAutumn

An illustrated half body of an olive-skinned elven transman with choppy green hair and dark red eyes. He is posed facing 3/4 to the left and holding a glimmering golden apple in his hands, yet appears rotten as shown from the inside from the bite into it. The rotten juices are spilling over his hand and some of it is dripping from his mouth. He wears an open chest black tunic wrapped by a grey and gold sash at his waist and he wears dark brown trousers underneath. He has a couple of mismatched golden triangle earrings and some golden jewellery on his person. He is looking off the right side with deadpan eyes. The background is a dull red with smudgy red textures. Glowy effects are glittering on the apple and some of his gold jewellery.

i decided to do oc-tober but put a little spin on it! i'll be drawing my oc keiji for the whole month (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ) we'll see how far i get day 1. alarm [ #oc | #ocsky | #art | #oc-tober | #keiji-tober ]

a drawing of my oc keiji for a art challenge. keiji appears to be an alien like catboy dressed in tight black clothes and a red bandana around his neck. he's clutching his side as he leans against a wall, he has a wound that bleeds blue. the blood is smeared on his clothes as well as the walls.

two people stand over keiji, looking down at him. there is static and scratch like marks on the art as if it is a recording. in the corner it says "day 1. alarm"

This is exactly why I plan on doing offline PDF releases of my comic, and never selling my soul to corpos. As webcomic artists, we got to start considering this. Lost media is growing lately, having the ability to read comics without online services has become more important than ever.

This is why I hate digital stuff. You spend lots of money or time unlocking chapters and then suddenly it can all be taken away from you. Like a snap. This is partly why some people pirate stuff. Now if some other platform picks all these series, people have to pay for them AGAIN.

Anytime I see someone complaining how Vgen is too complicated, too hard to get Verified on, or that they're not getting clients, etc and I wish they understood its not a magical problem solver of a site. It's a specialized tool to streamline administrative tasks so you can focus more on art.

Last post I'll make on this issue: I got tired of some users already dismissing and downplaying this issue as "drama", so I made a response in the Artfol Discord. Context of the contradicting response will be in thread.

Fellow users, we would appreciate it when this issue isn't treated as "drama".
This is a real / serious issue, and a dangerous mistake regardless of intentions. It's not something we should easily dismiss and forget / forgive.

While I personally still don't forgive your contradicting "it's not our intention" response,
I sincerely hope you'll be able to get out of the partnership unscathed. And I hope you take time to reflect on your actions, that haphazardly accepting money will lead to more damage on your platform.

& I hope you don't get any threats on your well-being, whether it's from the userbase or possibly the Scientology members.
Despite all this, you absolutely don't deserve to be thrown into a pit.

Moving platforms isn't easy, so I also don't blame anyone staying either.
But please keep this in mind, and don't let this userbase become toxic positivity, by continuing fair accountability.

I'm being unprofessional in the discord right now (because I'm tired) but I don't think this is helping the situation at all

discord message from artfol dev "I'm open to hearing your thoughts, we partnered with the organisation behind the contest because (frankly) advertising revenue is important to keeping Artfol running,

I am aware of the contest's connection to Scientology and looked into it before we agreed to the partnership. From what I found, the contest itself does appear to provide genuine opportunities and visibility for artists, and I didn't find evidence that participating in the contest itself was a recruitment effort for Scientology.

That said, I completely understand why people are uncomfortable with the association, and I don't want to dismiss those concerns. We may have missed the mark here, and we'll definitely take another look at the partnership."

I JUST WANT TO CLARIFY I am NOT saying Artfol is Scientology organization. I have no proof of that. ALL I have proof of is that they are taking ad space, listing them as a trusted partner and promoting a contest promoted by Scientology under the “L. Ron Hubbard Presents” moniker.
