iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

We sure treated ourselves today with my friend 💞

I feel like I am starting to lose interest in BL / yaoi :( No new series excites me and I don't feel like collecting books anymore either. This is devastating;^; I guess it's because I can't afford books, there are way too many series and they are hard to get.

Pew pew??? The censorship when it comes to words like suicide or gun (for example) is ridiculous. Imagine watching to a true crime video and you hear "they found a pew pew next to his body" 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲

The Hounds of Sisyphus is so good because you never really know what is going to happen! And ah, all the theories people are making is exciting and different. Gusao is amazing 🩷

Autumn feels like home. I worked so hard on this illustration 🤍

Digital illustration by The Ghost Egg of two ghosts decorating a tree and a log with string lights. There is a small wooden sign labeled “home”.

This is why I hate digital stuff. You spend lots of money or time unlocking chapters and then suddenly it can all be taken away from you. Like a snap. This is partly why some people pirate stuff. Now if some other platform picks all these series, people have to pay for them AGAIN.

Thank you Tapas for giving us yet another great example of why digital "purchases" that don't come with DRM-free downloads are no purchases at all, just rentals with an undefined time period :) I just loooove spending hundreds to thousands on a digital platform only to have you take it all away!

Screenshot from the Tapas shutdown "Ink and Refunds" section, with highlight on the last two paragraphs that basically say "Can my purchases be transferred to other Kakao-owned services? No. Can I get refunds? No." You just lose everything you've ever paid for on Tapas!

I wonder what causes pain in the red area (it also goes to my lower back and buttocks) when lying down? During walking or standing the ache / pain doesn't bother much. Or more like there is no pain during those times.
