This is the wildest and funkiest thing I’ve done. holy shit @giantrobottackler.bsky.social writes so evocatively and fiercely, he’s sickeningly good at it! I let myself go wild with messy and nostalgic art for this, and god I’m super happy with it! I love making weird art with my weird friends!!

Hi! I'm going to be at Develop:North speaking about the concept of punk and how it applies to games. Games exist in damaging systems and it takes mindful work from all levels to be punk and subvert this. Sometimes we confuse discomfort for pain, but in this talk, I'm going to walk you through it!

Punk games do not deny the harshness of reality. Instead, they acknowledge it and the harm that has been done but create something hopeful, realistic, and revolutionary.
