most of ekhys' problems stem from his extinct emotion and compassion. hes had to train to think more empathetically. the good thing is he believes this is the correct and most lucrative path. being malicious would be counterintuitive to him. naturally his personality still breeds conflict regardless

if he were more woke about it, ekhys would likely identify as agender+aroace. however, even if he did know about those terms, he'd still identify as male for simplicity. he doesn't care enough to resonate with labels in that way, so he just goes with what he was born with. a very ""he" is fine" type

ekhys doesnt feel attraction of any kind (package deal with having no emotions), but he isnt against the concept. he just visibly sucks at acting like he's interested and could never reciprocate someones feelings, so everyone hes ever asked has told him to not even try. this doesnt really bother him
