I still remember rushing home as a fresh-faced teen with my brand new paperback of Heir to the Empire. Finally, I would learn what happened to Han, Luke, and Leia after Return of the Jedi. That moment, almost 35 years ago, is still so visceral. One of my favourite Star Wars memories. #StarWars

Cover of Timothy Zahn’s Star Wars: Heir to the Empire. Features illustrations of Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo, and Chewbacca as well other Star Wars iconography. It is also the first ever visual depiction of Grand Admiral Thrawn and Joruus C’baoth.

Er, no. The Office is actually a UK version of FRONTLINE. I loved this show so damned much and have mourned it daily for the past 29 years.

Hey Siri, just one more thing: when was Rey born? *about 14-15 ABY*

OMG! The 9/11 of #StarWars - Fallen Star by Claudia Gray is a masterpiece. By far my favourite novel of #TheHighRepublic phase 1.

Alternate cover design for Star Wars The High Republic: Fallen Star by Claudia Gray. Shows a collage illustration of a damaged Starlight Beacon falling with key Jedi in various defensive poses surrounding it.

I mean, theres the famous moment where Luke goes to strike Palpatine but Vader blocks the killing blow - initiating the final duel that would end with his son almost killing him. He just seems much more willing to be a pawn in the Emperor’s plan than effecting his own to destroy him.

Image from Return of the Jedi. Luke’s green lightsaber clashes with Vaders red lightsaber. Emperor Palpatine watches approvingly.

#StarWars Legacy by Madeleine Roux was surprisingly fantastic! What looked like a gap-filler turned into a rich meditation on the Force and our inner demons, set on the Force-nexus world of Tython. A real treat for sequel-era fans.

So I’m hearing from some pretty reliable sources that the #Starfighter teaser (most of us have already seen) will be attached to the #Endgame re-release in September. #StarWars

Fan made poster artwork showing RYAN GOSLING name at the top with three x wing starfighters flying through colourful clouds, with the title text arranged as "STAR WARS STARFIGHTER”, the release date "MAY 28, 2027" beneath that, and the Lucasfilm and Disney logos at the bottom.

Out of all the things you listed, only Rogue One & Andor are actually original stories, the rest are just awful & terrible adaptations of E.U. material that disrespects the original author's visions

Also, funny you don't mention ANY written material, there are easier ways to tell us you are iliterate, ya'know?
Specially when the Disney Canon has actually pretty decent books like the Vader & C3PO 2015 comicbook series 🤷‍♀️

I genuinely cheered when Nawawaam’s emotionless ideology was shown up for what it is. The idea that we must suppress our emotions to gain enlightenment is so misguided and arrogant. I’ve always loved that Luke used the Force to GUIDE his emotion to a path forward. #StarWars #TheNinthJedi

I loved this series so much and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. Especially loved the silver lightsaber and how it represents a certain clarity of mind - what the series says about balance Both internally and externally. Many thoughts. Blog article tomorrow. #TheNinthJedi #StarWars

Can someone explain why Jenny Nicholson is regarded as some ultimate #StarWars fan? She had a brief flirtation with the sequels, disliked pretty much everything except a few parts of TLJ, made a 4hr complaint video about a free Star Wars holiday, and hasn’t watched anything post-TROS. WT actual F?

Wow. I’m really enjoying Eyes Like Stars by @ashleyposton.bsky.social I’m ripping through it too. Don’t be put off by the “romance” tag. This is a great adventure story with some fantastic, and relateable, new characters. And some twists.

These fucks have been pushing their right-wing grift on #StarWars, #Marvel, and #DC for a decade now. But they were just “Angry Fans” then, right? Now they’re trying to infect “important” movies with their hateful bile, it’s suddenly a problem. At least people are finally fucking noticing.

It’s dumb how the galaxy somehow reverted back to space authoritarianism 30 years after it was defeated. It’s so unrealistic. I mean, look at the real world, after the allies won WW2, fascism just ended. We never, ever saw or heard from a Nazi again. #StarWars

Screen grab from a forum conversation about The First Order: “It was just creativity bankrupt. New villains, that basically look the same instead for some small variations. And it kind of makes no sense they are in the position they are in.

At least the prequels had different villain groups with the trade federation. They were bad but they tried.”
