*Petunia superbissima* is a spectacular petunia variety characterized by giant flowers with deeply ruffled, fringed edges and rich veining in the throat. The blooms often measure between 4 and 7 inches (10 to 18 cm) in diameter. The petal margins are heavily pleated and wavy. They come in solid colors—such as pink, red, dark purple, and white—often featuring intricate, contrasting veining in the throat. It is frequently grown as an annual or a tender perennial, depending on the climate (though certainly not in Quebec!). A true floral beauty.

Le *Petunia superbissima* est une variété spectaculaire de pétunia, caractérisée par des fleurs géantes aux bords profondément froncés et frangés, ainsi que par un veinage riche au niveau de la gorge. Les fleurs mesurent souvent entre 10 et 18 cm de diamètre. La bordure des pétales est fortement plissée et ondulée. Ils se déclinent en couleurs unies — telles que le rose, le rouge, le violet foncé et le blanc — et présentent souvent un veinage complexe et contrasté dans la gorge. Cette plante est fréquemment cultivée comme annuelle ou comme vivace non rustique, selon le climat (mais certainement pas au Québec !). Une véritable merveille florale.
