ALSO (thinking about this a lot now, ilu this is fun) The whole period thing. That falls in line with a part of growing up fat, where skinny folks can have normal biological functions and it's beautiful, natural, quirky (eg periods, burping, being clumsy). Fat? Absolutely revolting, laugh at them.

I have never seen Precious, but I think you're right from what I've heard about it, and that's a really good example. I know that a lot of people resonated with that movie, so to me it proves that we can show that and have it work, while also not encouraging more fatphobia from the audience.

We see the skinny/pretty mother and fat daughter dynamic soooooo often in media, as well as fat parent/skinny child jealousy/control, while I can't think of an example of a fat parent abusing their fat child with their own internalized fatphobia, which happens unfortunately often in real life.

I also want to point out that Carrie's mother is also supposed to be "morbidly obese", and honestly with the rest of her issues, I think it would be great to explore those mother-daughter dynamics where the physical resemblance a child has to a self hating parent can be another weapon of abuse. ---

Recommendation when using Nair is to be veeery mindful of the best before date if there is one (one year after opening if not). I toss it two months before (about 10 months after opening) since I've had bad burns when using after that long, thinking I could push through since 'it should be fine'

I miss the era of Rehydrated Ganondorf, between BotW and TotK. The internet seemed so much more peaceful then, just artists making a fan made setting of the triforce trio going on adventures with looming tragedy ahead of them, and a layer of sexual tension because Ganondorf was so hot. Good times.
