Huh, who knew the jackasses behind Shiny Hunters ransomware group were not good people. “The 24-year-old Pepijn van der S., who was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the hacker group ShinyHunters on 15 September, is also suspected of an attempted provocation of two murders.”

Remember the random dude who got 49020939 articles of uncritical media coverage in the space of two days because he quit anthropic based on his fears of existential AI risk? Yeah..........he's a climate denier. So is the whole AI industry. www.crikey.com.au/2026/09/22/a...

Anybody enjoying the look of what is happening to the game industry is evil.

Still shocked at Bruno's passing. First saw Das Ich at the first GothAM festival, and many times since then. Most memorable being the night before my wedding, and having a great chat with him then.

RIP Bruno Kramm, remarkable frontman of Das Ich. Not only was he behind the best music of the circa-1990 Neue Deutsche Todeskunst moment, but he put his money where his mouth was, running for office as official Pirate Party Germany candidate. Nobody quite like him.

They basically turned Bert and Ernie into a DaDaist art project.

Paul Haenen and Wim t Schippers. Both very well established actors and artists. The latter produced a play with German shepherds and made an art work by making a floor with peanut butter.

They're awesome, though I don't think you are ready to hear the story about the Dutch voice actors for them.

Same pack indeed! Escape from Targ pack. (How that one was done with a modified save game is worth reading up on as well)

Sentry23 @sentry23.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

The game packaging (at least on ST) was a thing to behold as well, with maps, sealed tip envelope, and what else.

Shame you didn't review it, I would have loved to read that one, but your colleague did a good job anyway.

Working for a company that works in some dangerous environments, this is also thaught as second nature to always hold the handrail. I've even heard of dismissals for people not doing so at work.

Very much. Played it a lot, until I figured that if you YOLO the last mission (straight at warship, full 6 salvo) you could get an easy 'world greatest submarine commander' title :)

Hear hear. I wrote about the central role the Netherlands plays in F-35 sustainment last year. The narrative of EU dependence on the US is so oversimplified. It is a deeply reciprocal relationship across security and economic affairs. open.substack.com/pub/mileskel...
