It helps to knit/crochet while having crochet videos put on as the background, especially with a beginner, it feels like you're doing it with someone else, like you're having a company I recommend Jenna Phipps channel on youtube, especially older videos when she started crocheting

Crochet might be overwhelming at the beginning, honestly I can't remember cause I started when I was 12 But I had literally 5 tries with knitting before I actually learned to make something than a square full of holes and dropped stitches You just gotta push through and you'll learn
