Gen Z may be the first modern generation to score worse on standardized tests than their parents. Neuroscientist Jared Cooney Horvath points to schools replacing textbooks with tech and the iPhone. I’d add COVID as a major inflection point many never recovered from.

The U.S. spent $30 billion to ditch textbooks for laptops and tablets: The result is the first generation less cognitively capable than their parents | Fortune
Neuroscientist Jared Cooney Horvath said older generations “screwed up” giving students access to so much technology: “I genuinely hope Gen Z quickly figures that out and gets mad.”

The fraud is crushing the economy. Eventually, the free federal money will dry up. The local government is shameful. Do you think normal citizens support fake child care centers or having their town burned down?

California and New York have the most segregated educational systems. What culture? Rap was ruined by the industry thirty years ago. It does not reflect my people. The culture where college-age kids can no longer read an entire book?

I'm more worried that recess is still only 20 minutes. Public schools suck; let's just be honest. The best teachers hate the system.

Mid-20th Century: World War II and Cold War Era During WWII, the U.S. occupied Greenland for defense. In 1946, President Harry Truman offered $100 million to buy it for security reasons, but Denmark rejected it. A 1951 treaty allowed U.S. bases instead.

Estimates of the operation cost 2 billion on the high end. Trump just got 50 million barrels, which could be worth approximately $2.8-3 billion if sold on the market from Venezuela or 45 days of their current production.

This has little to do between Europe and the USA. It's about collective security against Russia and China. Europe has no significant ability to properly patrol the country and assert control of the shipping lanes.

I don't think you understand the military significance of the country. You are right. This has nothing to do with minerals, etc. Shipping lanes and airbases yes

It's more important for its strategic position for shipping lanes and airports. The country received two offers from previous American presidents to purchase the country in the past. FDR offered 100,000 tons of gold. It was critical during WW2.

Illegal immigration has caused major issues in my neighborhood in Chicago. I am glad the law is finally being enforced. We have had huge issues with our budget and a lot of strain on our public services. Also, people are finally getting their jobs back at decent wages.
