All done. A harlequin bug gave bugalugs a fright when it landed on her, but I think it’s a case of like knows like.

A bug on an olive skinned hand with long-ish fingernails. The bug is around 15mm long, with six legs and short antennae, and a head that looks somewhat small compared to the rest of its body. It is mostly orange, with symmetric irregular black spots, and iridescent green shoulders.

I used to use various alt glyphs for visual readability, but I stopped when I heard them spoken by a screen reader. The range of behaviour was between the glyphs being skipped, to the name of each individual glyph spoken aloud. The quoted toot led to a somewhat amusing failure case.
