i *think* the most appropriate use i'd have for it is upstream feature extraction for a different classifier. that way you don't need labelled data at the granularity of jev's task as long as you can evaluate the downstream performance

messed with Jev a little and the appropriate use cases seem very narrow: - input space is natural language - one shot classification is effective (!) - enough labelled data to meaningfully evaluate performance - not enough data or too long inputs to use embeddings
