Read, Share & Subscribe! Recently, Lucha Libre promotion AAA debuted the third version of costumed skeleton wrestler La Parka, who has a complicated history involving copyrights, copycats and everything that makes Lucha Libre feel, at times, impenetrable to an outside audience.

New stuff up, including an infamous Mid-Atlantic heavy heat heel moment from February 24, 1979 in Raleigh - that had nothing to do with pro wrestling. Relive (or discover) the stall for it all between Duke and UNC, where the winner got the bye in the ACC Tourney. www.patreon.com/posts/infamo...

The Game (and a small story) Of The Day. Mid-Atlantic wrestling territory was also Atlantic Coast Conference territory. A classic took place today between UNC and Maryland which had me in warm and fuzzy feels about CD Chessley, Raycom & Jefferson-Pilot Teleproductions www.patreon.com/posts/game-a...

You can say ‘I like pancakes’ and somebody will say ‘So you hate waffles?’

At this point in the game it's incredibly easy for me to tune out announcers, so I usually don't care what the pairings are, but if became the Generalissimo of AEW I'm going with Ian and Don Callis on Dynamite. Their managers never get heat at ringside anyway, so just let Callis sell everything.
