There’s seven Senator seats Democrats can flip but it appears more like 14. Voter anger of betrayal by Trump is driving the flip.

"But as Ukraine’s war effort falters, there are mounting signs of the conflict spiraling into generalized warfare." The first clause is a direct inversion of the truth (Ukraine is advancing), and the second uses passive voice to avoid naming which party is causing the conflict to spiral (Russia).

Israel’s national security establishment argument: United States is a declining power, American political values threaten Israel’s identity.Israel must sever its dependence on Washington. Israel no longer trusts US. Thus why should American taxpayers continue underwriting its military dominance?

The real question is not how to execute yesterday’s doctrine more efficiently, but whether the doctrine itself remains relevant. Military advantage will belong to forces that learn, adapt, and innovate faster than their opponents—not those that merely modernize old concepts.

The strategic mistake would be spending four years repairing Republican damage, only to hand Republicans the next election. Democrats need to build something Americans have a personal stake in preserving. Kids, families, education, security and economic opportunity are that investment.

Rank-and-file Democrats — and, I’d wager, a substantial portion of the voting public — do not want compromise and cooperation. They want accountability. And if we hope to confine Trumpism to the ash-heap of history, then accountability is the only choice there is to make.

Washington did what Washington does best in a crisis: it consolidated. Twenty-two agencies were pulled under one roof, sold to the public DHS as a seamless security shield. The logic was unity of command. The result was bureaucratic sprawl.

Iraq is not a collection of tribes waiting for Tehran to take control. It is a nation with its own identity, institutions, and capacity to thrive. Its challenge is political fragmentation: competing parties seeking power can generate instability without making Iranian domination inevitable

The argument that an American withdrawal from Iraq will create a power vacuum assumes two things that remain unproven: that Iran will dominate Iraq and that Washington must return for a third time to restore order.
