Spotted in Paris:
A photo of a Parisian street, with characteristic Haussmannian buildings in the background. In the foreground, a shop mannequin leans, as though drunk, against a lampost next to a bin. The mannequin is apparently female, but has no head or arms, and its legs are unrealistically thin. Its naked bottom is towards the viewer.

I've released version 0.3.8 of my WIP #Psion Agenda-like "Pygenda" app targeting keyboard-equipped PDAs running Linux (e.g. #GeminiPDA, #CosmoCommunicator, #PinePhone with keyboard). The main additions this release are: • Anniversaries – something that Psion […] [Original post on mastodon.online]
A photo of a Gemini PDA - a clamshell palmtop computer with a keyboard similar to a Psion Series 5, bit with a colour screen. The Gemini is running Pygenda under Linux. Pygenda is in Week View, with a layout like a traditional paper diary. Various events are shown and are highlighted in yellow (for work entries) or blue (for personal entries).

I've just been challenged by a Captcha that refused to confirm I was a human unless I identified the image below as containing a pedestrian crossing. Unfortunately for future self-driving car passengers, the image shows the exclusion zone separating lanes on a major road, possibly a motorway.
A grainy photo of part of a multi-carriage road. The left part of the road is painted with white stripes, and bordered by a crash barrier. Another traffic lane is seen ahead, to the left of the striped area. The context indicates that the striped area is an exclusion zone separating lanes.

Experimenting with custom CSS for different calendar sources in Pygenda on my Gemini PDA. (Photo shows dummy entries - not my real agenda)
A photo of a Gemini PDA (a handheld clamshell mobile phone with a similar design and keyboard to the Psion Series5, but with a colour screen). The device is open and shows the Week View of the Pygenda application (similar to the Week View in Psion Agenda). Entries have different coloured backgrounds depending on whether they are personal, work or "International Day" entries).

I think there are already rather too many "agitateurs blancs" in the world.
A cardboard box with a drawer open revealing the contents: many white plastic drinks stirrers. The box is labelled in French: "Agitateurs blancs", with an image of some stirrers and the brand "Gilbert".

Found in the hardware box. Apparently much flat-pack furniture was constructed.
A photo of a pile of about 25 small Allen keys (a.k.a. hex wrenches) of the type included with self-assembly furniture, plus three flimsy-looking spanners, on a wooden floor.

I've just released version 0.3.5 of Pygenda - my WIP #Psion Agenda-like app targetting #GeminiPDA & #CosmoCommunicator running Linux. (Similar keyboard #PDA type devices running #LinuxMobile should work too, e.g. #PinePhone + keyboard, F(x)tec #Pro1x […] [Original post on mastodon.online]
A photo of a Gemini PDA and a Cosmo Communicator (clamshell handheld devices with keyboards, similar to the Psion Series 5 from the 1990s, but more powerful and with colour screens). They are both running desktop Linux and Pygenda. On the Gemini, Pygenda is open in Week View and a todo-item is visible for 24th December: "Do Christmas shopping". On the Cosmo, Pygenda is open in Year View and the same to-do item is visible.

Do not worry, little decoration, you are safe with me
A photo of the reverse side of a label from a T-shirt. Under the washing symbols it says, in block capitals "DO NOT IRON DECORATION"

I've just released version 0.3.4 of Pygenda, my WIP Psion-style agenda application for keyboard-equipped handhelds running GNU-like Linux. The main changes this release are bug fixes and installation instructions for the Cosmo Communicator (see photos) […] [Original post on mastodon.online]
A Cosmo Communicator running Linux/KDE with Pygenda open in Week View. In this view, Pygenda looks like a traditional paper diary with two pages per week. A menu is open showing options to set the time, alarms, repeats or details of an entry.
