May we call it hygge visuality or cine-Ma (thinking of Miyazaki here)? Like haptic visuality but with its own techniques that activate the somatic. Communal eating/comfort food scenes, rainy day daydreaming, record or book stores (or libraries in costume dramas), etc.

Not based on a book, but I like Olivier Assayas's Personal Shopper for the climate of haunting that the film manages to invoke. Assayas is generally good for that.
