iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Sky jellyfish!! Love the concept! Though I think I would for them ominous IRL...

Im not salty about this, what are you talking about? Lol Anyway, your art is fulfilling its purpose as long as it is giving you joy 👏 or an outlet 👏

And monetizing hobbies is bad for burnout! You need outlets that don't circulate around the end product or productivity or others opinions! Fuck side gigs uggggh

Yeah, someone asked me why I focused on so many mediums instead of doing just the one they liked. And I was like 1. My ADHD won't let me 2. I think messing around in different mediums helps with others 3. I would be miserable??? 4. Fuck capitalism!!!

This is amazing! I can tell exactly which one is which just based on characterization so well done!

Selkie Skies @selkieskies.bsky.social · 06/02/2025

Gorgeous!! Can you see them near where you live?

Selkie Skies @selkieskies.bsky.social · 06/02/2025

ohhhh this is such a fucking mood. I keep trying to remind myself that I don't actually have to master them since its my hobby! That isn't the point of me making art! But its so fucking hard when we are told that our worth = our art's worth = the art's technical skill

I mean... before I had a phone it was books. I don't think it will ever NOT be relevant 😆😭

Ah!!! I love the glowy luminescent ghost! So preeeetty. And the little lights on the fence behind them? You can do glowy shit so good 🙌

This is hilarious. I mean, I can relate so much with the audio. But also, you did such a great job again with lining up your drawings with the audio. And there expressions. And oh my god. Dead. Such a fucking line. And its kinda hilarious in the context of your relationship with an oc XD

*cry* this is such a mood and also you did such a great job with the editing of this and the expressions. 10/10 so good!

Love the rim lighting and the purple/yellow color scheme. Gorgeous sky 😍

Pretty. I love the dark greens you use in a lot of these!

All the queen's thief bookmarks I've made. I don't actually know what this type of art is called, but I cut out textures from various magazines and then layered them onto each other. #papercutting #papercraft #collage #tqt #queensthief #thequeensthief #meganwhalenturner

Papercutting of a woman in a red dress and gold jewelry sitting on a throne.

Papercutting of a man in flowing robes made from various magazine cuttings.

The front and back of a bookmark. The front is stylized like the reversible playing cards. Upright, shows a young boy holding a gun with the words 'the queen made me'. Upside down it shows an older man holding a gun with the words 'I make the king' The back of the bookmark is a grecian landscape make out of various pieces of magazines.

A bookmark made with a collage of various textures cut from magazines. It is vaguely in the style of Grecian vases. The left side is a brown skinned boy in the act of running away and looking over his shoulder. He has a stone in his hand that is shining. The right side is a white-skinned woman sitting on a block. In her hands is an empty plate.

Whimsical queer vibes for sure ✨ These are all really fun!

Love the colors and the color blocking in their hair looks especially nice. Great job!

Love the colors and composition

Love it!! Those colors are so pretty together and I love the gradients you used to concentrate the light colors all in the focal area 🥰

Years ago I made a series of bookmarks for someone for their queen's thief books. They lost the one associated with the first book, The Thief. They asked me to remake it again this year. I obliged, and am actually really happy with how it turned out. #queensthief #tqt #eugenides #meganwhalenturner

How cool! I think I've only seen the first one so far. Your attention in the second one is also really impressive! Also, just love the pose 💕 And another glowy lady!! It is so fun, I like the luminescence you are able to capture!

If you see this, post your blue art 💙 Seems appropriate for the season 😁❄️ #arttrain #artshare #winterart #art #digitalart #queerart #transart #transartist #fatart #fairy #fae

Digital art of a mid-fat black trans woman. She is wearing a light blue spagetti strap dress with leg warmers. She has wings and markings on her arms that have both been stylized to look like ice. She is looking at her hand and smiling as she makes magic snowflakes with her magic.

You are so very welcome! 😊💕

I love your work with the auroras in this one! How they reflect in the water, wrap around the figures, the lighting of the figures, the auroras' colors. How you chose to have the whale-person coming from the sky instead of the ocean is a really cool choice as well. Just a really neat piece overall!!

I love your use of light here, with the highlights, sparkles, and yellow orb. Gorgeous!

Thank you for your efforts to depict body diversity and your frankness. I look forward to seeing more of your work 💚

Thank you! If you are interested, I can link a few that I've found that I don't think are in the pack already. Right now who I've found is mostly the bigger artists, but hopefully we can find/recruit others!

This is a repaint I did a few years ago of another drawing a did over ten years ago. Ref: www.deviantart.com/mare-wrath-s... #art #digitalart #digitalpainting #portrait #repaint

Realistic digital painting of a black woman staring at the viewer with a neutral expression. She was nose, lip, and ear piercings. She is also wearing pearls and a blazer.

A digital drawing of the same black woman. This time with much more stylized crush strokes and saturated colors. The perspective is also not as accurate.

I think you've captured the mood perfectly. 😂😭

Once again, I love your facial expressions that make me love your characters 💕

This has so much energy to it, you've got me curious about the cursed clock app to see it 👀

Beautiful! I especially love the colors you used, they really help with that cold winter look!
